Dec-10-06  Maatalkko: And we wonder why more women don't play the game. If I were a woman, I would never set foot in any chess club!

paulalbert: Re: <stanleys> link. Nice picture of Sophie Milliet, but more interesting picture below. US vs. Russia: Kamsky vs. Kramnik, Onischuk vs. Svidler and then Grischuk's head, but well dressed gray haired man with silver-headed cane seated and watching appears to be 95 year old Andor Lilienthal!
Sep-10-07  percyblakeney: Milliet hasn't started the strong Baku tournament too well, but in round 6 she won quickly against Cramling, here she wins a piece on move 25 after black's mistake Qc4-c8:

Oct-28-10  Oxnard: Chess AND French AND a knockout? Gentleman, these are a few of my favourite things.
Oct-28-10  ex0duz: She looks pretty 'blazed' here doesn't she? Red eyes, cheeky grin, all signs point to blazed! Or maybe had a few drinks already :p

That nonetheless only adds to her charm n beauty :)

Ron: She has a Facebook page:

Mar-11-13  waustad: With another loss today she's having a terrible tournament at the Women's World Team Championship (2013). Playing on board 3 would have been easier for her, but the French top 2 didn't come.
Mar-12-13  waustad: A win on the last day probably took some of the sting out if it.
