  Chnebelgrind: big work! Thanks <wordfunph>
Apr-03-13  Beholder: Thanks for the game, congrats to <Chnebelgrind>!

Amazingly, <SwitchingQuylthulg> did not win despite leading with 60,000 chessbucks at some point. Maybe sitting on my hands was not such a bad strategy after all. Practiced it for most of the leg, and it got me safely to Silver.

Chnebelgrind: <Beholder> Thanks. I was glad about your sitting on your hands :). For Switch it would have been a simple task to win this leg. I think his desire to crack the 100,000 limit was his downfall.

<bubuli55>, <Sneaky> thanks.

Apr-03-13  Robin01: <wordfunph>Thanks for keeping track of the stats!
Apr-05-13  WinKing: Congrats to all the winners!!! Nice job <Chnebelgrind> hanging onto first. I personally don't think it is a safe practice to 'sit on your hands' in this contest.

Nice work on the stats <wordfunph> - thanks! I enjoy looking over who has done what. :)

Chessgames Bookie: Gift Certificates to The Chessgames Store have been emailed out to Chnebelgrind, Beholder, and Touch of Knight. If any of you guys don't get the email for some reason let me know. Congratulations again.

The next leg will begin soon, with some match-ups from the Russian Team Championship.

Apr-08-13  technical draw: I protest! Just as I was going to make a killing the betting ended. It ended too soon. I could of been a contender!
Apr-09-13  Beholder: <Chessgames Bookie> Could you please re-send it because I've just changed the email address in my profile. Thank you.
Apr-14-13  gauer: Ticket sales sure seem quiet for the ride around the new leg. The Championship corner's results didn't bust the bank, right?

SwitchingQuylthulg: <cg> Thanks for removing Gashimov... but you already had his replacement Kamsky listed, so now he's offered as an option twice!
Apr-16-13  brankat: At 77-1 and 89-1. I wonder which one is a better bet? :-)
Apr-17-13  whiteshark: <Bookie> Kamsky is listed 2 times in FIDE Grand Prix: WINNER
Apr-17-13  abhishikt: The settlement date for winner is Apr-18-13 ?

You got time machine? ;)

Chessgames Bookie: <whiteshark: <Bookie> Kamsky is listed 2 times in FIDE Grand Prix: WINNER> D'oh!!!

I'm going to have to talk to Daniel about how to fix that one. We need to convert the "new" Kamsky tickets to the main ones. Rest assured that if Kamsky wins you will be fairly paid, Gata fans.

Sneaky: Yay they fixed it! I'll celebrate with a 10 chessbuck bet on Kamsky :D

I serious have bet against Carlsen since the beginning of his rise and have lost a lot of chessbucks because of my stubbornness.

<wordfunph>
Thank you keeping up the stats of the chessbookie game.

Got it, thank you!

Now to decide what to spend it on...
