 | | Domdaniel: FORUMISTAS ALERT
...if GMAN moves in about 30 mins I'll be back - here and there - for some frenzied forum engineering... If not, snooze on. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: There was a young fellow from Cork
Who fell in love with the Duke of York
He thought it was very dandy
Until he met a highlander named Sandy
who's kilt was the shortest good God!! |
|
| Nov-26-06 | | mack: Oh the Grand Old Duke of York,
He had ten thousand men.
Well, you know how people talk. |
|
| Nov-26-06 | | TheSlid: Well, you know how people talk....Said to have been in a single afternoon...not natural, that. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: GMAN has seen our pocket watch and bet the trust fund... 29...Qb5 it is.... |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | OhioChessFan: Obviously, we need forums for R1f2 and fxg6. Maybe it's worth another look at R3f2 and Qd3? |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: <Dom> sorry about the forum post |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | OhioChessFan: You should be sorry! You didn't stick the knife in nearly far enough. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Domdaniel: Hi <all>
OK, we didn't have a forum for ...Qb5.
Wasn't exactly a shock, though.
I suggest we take a few mins to refamiliarize ourselves with the main options. I'll have to, anyway. Meantime, if anyone wants to make suggestions or volunteers for anything -- take the floor... |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: awww no... if having a forum for Qb5 was so important we should have set one up... sorry once again <dom> |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | OhioChessFan: My dear lady, when one has a man down, one is obligated to kick him! |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: <dom> no hard feelings ? |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | OhioChessFan: Qf4 is a little bit interesting. Scratch Qd3. Doh! |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Domdaniel: <Ohio> & <everyone>
Who's down....?? ;[
Yeah, and Qf4 turns up on RV's forum as well as my Fritz. Here are the main options for move 30, I think:
A) R1f2
B) fxg6
C) Qf4
D) Qg5
E) Rc1
Can't much see the point in R3f2. Any others, or any takers for these? |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: <dom> you havent answered my question.... |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | OhioChessFan: I'll try Qf4. Looks interesting, not a favorite. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Domdaniel: <Deffi> I have a hide like a dinosaur. Quite immune to what gets thrown at me. Sob. Sniff. Sob. OK, I'll be friends again... waaaah. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: hehehehe sorry dude... water under the bridge... beer into the cesspool ok ? |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: btw did you read my stab at a limerick? or were you too dazed conjuring up images of Sandy in the short kilt ? |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | OhioChessFan: <or were you too dazed conjuring up images of Sandy in the short kilt ?> THAT'S more like it! |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Domdaniel: Ohio, Qf4, check.
I'll suggest R1f2 to jepflast
and maybe fxg6 to themadhair...
OK?
<Deffi> I did. Didn't Eye? |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: yup the <eye> has it.... aye aye.. or eye eye even... |
|
| Nov-26-06 | | mack: <Dom>
I remain, Sir, your obedient servant. So far as distribution of forums is concerned, anyway. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Domdaniel: <Deffi> 'stab at a limerick', eh? Limerick - the place - is known locally as 'Stab City' on accounta the high rate of gang warfare etc. Your verse could be verse. |
|
Nov-26-06
 | | Open Defence: is that because <offramp> lives there ? ;-p |
|
