<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

OhioChessFan: I've been remiss in remembering a great songwriter for me. Jerry Leiber died a couple weeks ago. Here's a few remembrances:

<Jerry Leiber wasn't the most artful lyricist in U.S. music history, but he certainly was among the most visionary and authentic. Leiber, who died on Monday in Los Angeles at age 78, was rock 'n' roll's first major wordsmith. With an ear for R&B and urban youth culture of the early and mid-1950s, Leiber had the good sense to keep his stories simple and quirky.>

<“Now, here’s Mike Stoller, and one day he’s sitting around with Jerry Leiber. And he hears this song on the radio. ‘Wow!’ they go — because they understood Spanish — ‘that’s a wicked little song. It’s street life. Listen to how they’re doing this scene from the street. We can do that.’ The rest is history.” >

Give me
Your dirty thought
Like you might surrender
To some Master in your riot

Give me
Your deeper thought
Like a gray donation
To the Master in your dreams

I don't need romantic notions
I don't want a cheap variation
Just whip me up some deeper motion
From your dirty thought

Give me
Your dirty thought
Like some tacky silicon offer
In the early middle game

Give me
Your mighty thought
I don’t believe
You’ve never ran
That plies before

I don't need no inspiration
I don't want imagination
I only got one destination
And that's your empty thought

Give me
Your dirty thought
Just like Deep Blue Got Garry Wrecked
in nineteen moves

Give me
Your deepest thought
The way that ancient
Nicely got that Master maze

I'll ignore your chip’s aroma
With my Spacebar Master diploma
I'll just fan you until a coma
With some dirty thought

WITH GIGA BITES!
(Come on, Rybka)
THE PC CHEWS IT!
(Dive it!)
WITH GIGA BITES!
(Try Houdini)
THE PC CHEWS IT!
(Sink it!)

OhioChessFan: I am <very> impressed with the strawman builders over at <FSR> forum. It takes a PhD in argumentation to find a group of like minded people to agree with you when you say something they already agree with.
Sep-15-11  Pyke: <OhioChessFan>

Hello, I do not think we've met before, but I just wanted to drop by and say that, while I might not agree with you on the topic, I find the reaction of <FSR> really ... questionable.

Just deleting your post. Whatever happened to: "I might not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it"?

In the past I've been impressed by the mannered way you discuss topics.

Keep it up!

OhioChessFan: Hello <Pyke> I don't believe you've posted on the forum before though I'm not sure. I am certainly familiar with your posts in other places. If you saw a post I made, I deleted it. I try to respect a forum and decided I'd be better served to vent here. As for <FSR> I don't care for many of his positions but I suspect he'd be a lot of fun to hang out with. One big ticket item for me is if a person shows even an occasional glimpse of humor in all this.
