<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ♔ Round 6 Recap ♔

<chessmoron> is back after an ill fated attempt at being a backup dancer on the Miley Cyrus tour. He didn't duck when the wrecking ball swung by. As for the contest, in a shocking turn of events, Not-Yet-A-Hall-Of-Famer <PinnedPiece> surged to the lead in 3! categories. <SwitchingSomethingOrAnother> is in the lead in the other category. I've always thought the Moves+Bonus Ranker is the most important contest, and 5 people are within 10 points there. One round to go. Can <PinnedPiece> finally get to the Winner's Circle? Will <OhioChessFan> be able to spell <SwitchingWhat'sHisName> right? Did Miley knock some sense into <chessmoron>? Stay tuned.

Jul-19-14  WinKing: <chessmoron: <Penguincw> and <WinKing> Thanks for subbing for me to calculate the results.>

Your welcome <chessmoron>. <Penguincw> did a nice job! You've got a few back-ups to fill in now if ever need be.

  OhioChessFan: ♔ Final Recap ♔

The sports world is stunned as <PinnedPiece> has burst through the doors of the Hall of Fame with not one, but two gold medals! He added one silver to his haul. He has 15 seconds for his induction speech, starting.......now. Okay, time's up. Already Hall of Famers <Switchamacallit> and <lostemperor> added a gold medal each to their collections. <lost> had two silvers and a bronze also.

Other medal winners were <WinKing> with 2 silvers, <OhioChessFan> with two bronzes, and <penguincw!> <Karpoian> <Golden Exectutive> and <Robin01> with a bronze each. Thanks to everyone for playing, and to <chessmoron> and <penguincw> and <WinKing> for scoring

Penguincw: What a tournament! Thanks to <chessmoron> and <OCF> for hosting, and also thanks for help from <WinKing>. As for the winners, special congratz to <PinnedPiece> for getting the double crown. Entering this tournament, he was the only participant to not have won a gold medal in this contest.

Also, I'm a bit surprised that I came away with a bronze despite being shutout in 2 categories, but I'll take it. :)

By the way, any plans for next tournament? Bilbao is probably best, taking place in September.
