<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

Penguincw: < WinKing: The <Karpster> hits 3 EXACTS! Awesome!!! You have license to trash talk anyone you feel like today! ;) >

There's only one person he would actually trash talk you know.

But I will be the first (technically second) to congratulate him on hitting 3 exacts.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 5 Recap **

<chessmoron> managed to join the competition that round after deciding to score but not play the last round. In a stunning development, <StartsWithKAndRhymesWithBarposian> managed 3! perfect 10's that round, one of the greatest achievements since Nadia Comaneci. <Penguincw> was sighted ready to jump off an iceberg in despair. <Karposian> took an outright lead in 2 Rankers and a shared lead in another. <lostemperor> maintained his lead in Bonus Ranker. <Switch> and <word> share the #1 Ranker lead with <Karposian>.

GM Ashley was reportedly checking out the predictions on this page during the live broadcast today. He apparently couldn't believe the gazillion-1 odds of someone getting 4 exacts out of 4 Moves Ranker scores. Did <Karposian> have any money on Leciester? Who does <Karposian> project winning next year's Super Bowl? Is he not really that good but only involved in a payola scheme with the players just to win this contest? Can someone revive <Penguincw> in time for him to make predictions next round? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other pressing questions. 4 rounds to go in our mind blowing contest.

lostemperor: Wow, <Karposian> got three exact amount of moves predictions in one round!!

I have one exact prediction and two close ones today but he certainly also has the license to trash talk me if he feels like today or other days for that matter!:)

Apr-24-16  Karposian: <lostemperor: I have one exact prediction and two close ones today but he certainly also has the license to trash talk me if he feels like today or other days for that matter!:)>

Oh, I could never trash talk the esteemed host of the Tournament Prediction Contest, could I?

Of course, I scored 30 pts to your 18, and I am ahead of you in three out of four contests, which clearly shows that I am the better player. You're still way ahead of me in the Hall of Fame, but, of course, that's only because I started playing several years later than you did.

Yes, I started late. Just the last 3 years or so. My results these last 2-3 years speak for themselves. In fact, I am better than all of you.

But I could never trash talk you, <le>. How could I? Just because I'm better than you (which I am)? No, no. I show respect even to those who are inferior (which really is..well, everyone here).

Apr-24-16  Karposian: <OCF: Who does <Karposian> project winning next year's Super Bowl?>

I can say with confidence: New England Patriots.

Apr-24-16  Karposian: <WinKing: The <Karpster> hits 3 EXACTS! Awesome!!! You have license to trash talk anyone you feel like today! ;)

Not only that you get to go to the head of the class. :) Nice picken' <Karposian>!>

Thanks, <WinKing>. This time I will, hopefully, finally surpass <Penguincw> in the Hall of Fame, and then I think you're next!
