<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

This:

<I will not use the blow-the-whistle function.>

Isn't a question.

Oct-16-18  diceman: <saffuna: I can't ask what a cryptic post means before responding?>

Why would you believe you can't ask a question you've already asked twice?

<Sorry, <ocf>. What does that mean?>

<So, what does "as it turned out" refer to?>

Oct-16-18  Keyser Soze: <saffuna: <ocf><It is beyond despicable that someone is trying to take advantage of the webmaster's death for his own selfish ends.> Who do you believe is doing that?

I believe the two people who used the webmaster's death to accuse another poster of causing that death were taking advantage.>

Of what? I think he meant people taking advantage to <gain power on the new administration.>.

Big pawn didn't acused anyone directly of killing anyone. Just made a case that <IF> stress was a issue , than some people could be blamed, which I agree. Stress caused by that individual is well known. I proved already and his legal threats is on record . Period.

Question for you: who was the two people who was so interested to buy the site <while mourning (cough cough!) For him ?

Where the same to tried buying Daniel's mother (wtfk ?) a premium membership? No hidden interest behind? I don't buy that .

Among the "highlights": 25 mins of a woman staring at a boat.

I looked at that link and it says that the entire film is only 115 minutes, so if you take away the 25 minutes of the woman staring at a boat there is only 50 minutes left for the rest of the story.

(Also, 50 minutes would be the exact amount of time necessary for two MORE women staring at boats episodes of 25 minutes each.)

So the film must ZIP along in that remaining 50 minutes.

Well, let me tell you, there's a movie that "coulda been a contenda!"

To state it in English: It could have been a contender for most boring film ever made.

It's called <The Brown Bunny>.

If the last few minutes were deleted, it would have been for sure MORE BORING than 25 minutes of a woman staring at a boat.

We have what seemed like 20 minutes of driving. Yep, just driving. Along an interstate. Where everything is the same except the letters on the signs.

Fortunately (or unfortunately, if you are trying to achieve notoriety for MOST BORING FILM EVER), things got a bit more exciting towards the end of <The Brown Bunny>.

In fact, the "film" firmed up quite nicely.

saffuna: The original cut of "Heaven's Gate" was over five hours. I watched most of the 2.5 hour version and it was mind-numbing. I can only imagine what the five-hour version was like.
Oct-22-18  Count Wedgemore: <saffuna> Ah yes, the film that made a whole movie company go bankrupt, wasn't it? Michael Cimino. First 'Deer Hunter', a true masterpiece, then 'Heaven's Gate'. I can't remember if he ever made any more movies after that fiasco.

  Diademas: Another contender:

<Self-Portrait is a 1969 film made by the artist Yoko Ono. The film consists of a single 42 minute shot of the semi erect penis of her husband, John Lennon.> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Self-...

Oct-23-18  Keyser Soze: <yoko ono> OMG. I don't wanna see that.

And I thought the recent "Shape of Water" was boring enough..

Oct-23-18  diceman: <artist Yoko Ono>

Yoko Ohhhhhhh, noooooo!
