<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 3 Recap **

Things heated up that round, as <Count Wedgemore> continued to be like triple lucky or something, or maybe cheated, or something, who knows, but he managed to take the outright lead in 2 Rankers and is on the medal stand in the other 2. <chessmoron> and <wordfunph> continue to lead in Moves and Bonus Ranker respectively.

In a shocking incident, <OhioChessFan> stunned the spectators when he burst into the playing arena, screaming at Mamedyarov. Mamed had managed to lose a game some crummy player like <Count Wedgemore> could have won, and <OCF> snapped. He was hauled away by security and was only minutes ago released in time to conduct a recap, just to please that lucky <Count Wedgemore>. In other news, <Penguincw> showed up, to an enormous round of apathy.

We're a third of the way through, and the tension is high. Can <Count Wedgemore> continue his ridiculous run of blind luck? Will <chessmoron> and <wordfunph> hang on to their gold medals? What contestant will scream at one of the players this round? Will <OCF> ever get those embarrassing 0's off the scoreboard? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other penetrating questions. 6 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 4 Recap **
Just a few points made a big difference in the standings, as <wordfunph> charged to the lead in 2 Rankers, and <chessmoron> also leads in 2. <Count Wedgemore> held on for a share of the lead in 1.

In other news, <amw> and <Penguincw> both showed up this round. They started screaming furiously at Ding and Anand to play just one more move. Alas, it wasn't to be, and they joined <OCF> in The 0 on the Leaderbaord Band of Losers. <OCF> kept a close watch on which contestants supported <Pengo> and <amw> in their efforts and will try to steal points from them when <chessmoron> isn't looking. <OCF> started to comment to <chessmoron> that <Pengo> and <amw> weren't on the #1 Ranker list with 0's, but <chessmoron> glared at <OCF> and <OCF> smartly walked away, quickly.

We're almost halfway home already, and the leaderboards are all packed with close races. Who can make a strong move? Can someone have one big round to take control of all these close Rankers? Will <OCF> feel better having two more people join him on the dreaded 0 list even if they've only played one round? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other pressing questions. 5 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.
