<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 4 Recap **

Our unauthorized competition continues as we rolled through the fourth round. <Schwartz> continues to use his classical music white or black key method to make his pics, and is succeding in a big way. He leads in 3 Rankers. <GE> and <OCF> share the lead in Bonus Ranker. <juan> and <OCF> still have some ugly 0's on the scoreboard, and the fans are hoping to see them get rid of them soon.

Meanwhile, we once again had an argument at the starting gate, as <Winky> urgently yelled for <amw> to make his picks, and then started the games 3 seconds later. <amw> told <Winky> to stick to scoring and keeping information in his forum, and leave the starting to someone else. Never one to shy away from controversy, <Winky> accused <amw> of costing the competitors a world record in points scored in one round by not making his picks on time.

In other news, <OCF> was escorted from the playing arena by security after screaming at Wesley So to win his game today. The pressure of having the 0's on the scoreboard are obviously causing <OCF> to lose his composure. Soon after, <juan31> was tossed out and endured the glares of all the players in the tournament, who heard him complaining about a round of all draws. <juan> thought he was safe to do that by speaking in Spanish, but forgot that someone smart enough to be a 2700 GM is smart enough to speak more than one language. On a bizarre note, <Count> appears to be compiling information for an upcoming biography to be titled "The Life and Times of the Legendary A.J. Goldsby". He's begging anyone who will listen for stories to use in what he thinks will be his eventual best seller.

Where in the world is <chessmoron>? Will he be mad at the unauthorized competion going on? Can <Schwartz> hold on to the lead for a Triple Crown? Who will inevitably miss the round tomorrow? What contestant will get tossed from the playing arena tomorrow? Will anyone tell <Count> that nobody will pay for such a book? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other interesting questions. 7 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.

  OhioChessFan: ** Round 5 Recap **

It was a nice round by our contestants, as a total of 127 points were scored. That wasn’t good enough for <WinKing> who berated everyone for not doing better. Earlier, <Winky> had pretended to be glad that <amw> got his picks in this round but was in fact bitterly disappointed he couldn’t yell “GAMES STARTED” before <amw> rushed in. <lostemperor> is making a huge move, and now leads 2 Rankers. Asked to comment, he said “Round the first I to win didn’t of the contest need to play the.” He was so irriated after missing the first round, he wrote out his picks for the rest of the contest, threw them at <Winky‘s> feet, and left. <Schwartz> continues to lead in Moves+Bonus Ranker, and <Winky> is barely ahead of <OCF> and hopes that <OCF> will forget to make his picks next round.

Meanwhile, everyone is still nervous about <chessmoron>. You just don’t take any chances of irritating someone who is 7’ 6”. <WinKing> and <OCF> are in secret discussions about giving <chessmoron> 100 free points whenever he happens to show up. <Count Wedgemore> has everyone on the site in a panic as it appears he REALLY INTENDS TO WRITE A BOOK ABOUT A.J. GOLDSBY! <OCF> has to cover his eyes every time he sees <Count> mention it as it causes <OCF’s> eyeballs to bleed. <GE> was the latest contestant to irritate the tournament players, as Giri overheard <GE> complaining about how much money Giri cost him today.

Finally, the contestants were greatly pleased to see <OCF> finally hit a #1 this round, to get a couple 0’s off the scoreboard. <OCF> is too much of a gentleman to embarrass <juan31> by naming the only person left with 0’s on the scoreboard, so he won’t.

Where in the world is <chessmoron>? Will he be mad when he shows up? Who will be able to contain him if he is mad? Can <lostemperor> maintain his torrid pace while he refuses to come to the playing hall? Will <Count> sober up and stop his silly plan to write an A.J. Goldsby book? Stay tuned for the answers to these and many other pertinent questions.

Without <chessmoron> to glare at the tournament directors, there are no off days. Our contestants will struggle through to the end and survive on fumes if they have to. 6 rounds to go in our thrilling contest.
