<Format>:

[player]-[player] [result] [# of MOVES]

==4 Different Scoring Methods==

Standard Moves Ranker (1st place-Over[3pts], 1st place-Under [7pts], Exact [10pts])

Bonus Ranker (3rd place-Over[1pts],2nd place-Over[2pts],3rd place-Under [5pts], 2nd place-Under [6pts]

Standard Moves/Bonus Ranker [Add all to together]

1st place Ranker [how many 1st place you have in Standard Moves Ranker]

For example:

<Note: Participants 3, 4, and 5 are predicated on nobody scoring an exact as Participant 2 did. If someone hits an exact, the closest score under and over will score the points for second place.>

Actual Game: [player]-[player] 0-1 45

Participant 1: [player]-[player] 1/2 45
Participant 2: [player]-[player] 0-1 45
Participant 3: [player]-[player] 0-1 44
Participant 4: [player]-[player] 0-1 43
Participant 5: [player]-[player] 0-1 46

Participant 1: No points even though 45 is correct. Results must be correct. If Result is wrong and moves # is correct...you get no points whatsoever

Participant 2: 10 pts rewarded for correct Result/moves #

Participant 3: 7 pts rewarded for closest under (1st-Under) to 45 moves

Participant 4: 6 pts rewarded for the 2nd closest under (2nd-Under) to 45 moves.

Participant 5: 3 pts rewarded closest OVER(1st-OVER) to 45 moves.

Again, the description of Participant 3, 4, and 5 are based on there being no exact prediction as made by Participant 2.

<IF> there is an exact or an under closest, the highest scoring over participant will be 2nd over. The second closest over will be 3rd over. The <ONLY> time there will be a first over is if there is no exact or under winner.

  OhioChessFan: **Round 12 Recap**

The contest is at boiling point as we enter the last round. 3 different people are leading Rankers. <lostemperor> leads in 2, <Pengo> in 1, and <Winky> in 1.

The Dubov controversy is over, as <chessmoron> made a command decision to give 10 points to whoever bribes him or tells him he's the greatest or something. Nobody really understood the new rule he made, and everybody was afraid to ask for explanation. Nobody (besides <OhioChessFan>, apparently) noticed that <chessmoron> didn't remove Dubov from the tournament until after <cm> picked Dubov to win 2 games and took the accompanying forfeit wins. Everyone else seemed to think it was a principled decision. <OCF> is suffering from a terrible coughing attack as he fumes about the decision.

In other news, every player and fan in the world of chess decided <Messiah> is like the greatest genius in the history of the world. Rumor has it he's going to take over as CEO of Tesla from Elon Musk. It was a really disgusting display and it's not like <Messiah> could give them any extra points in this contest.

Not to be outdone, <juan31> has continued to pick the most ridiculous upsets he can dream of, and continues to get massively lucky and hit them. For some inexplicable reason, <cm> decided to reward <juan> for his silly picks by giving him 10 bonus points. At least <Winking> had the good sense to say great things about <cm>'s decision on the Dubov matter, in hopes that he'll get some brownie points. Good luck with that.

Meanwhile, <GE> crawled from his sickbed to turn in his picks. While everyone admired his toughness, they wouldn't allow <cm> to give <GE> the percentage of points he'd have earned if he'd been able to play the entire contest. Predictably, <OCF> came down to earth after his short lived great run following <Pengo's> inspirational speech.

And so, we're off to the final round. <Winky> has insisted our contestants have to get up at 6am or something for the last round No matter, our combatants are willing to do what it takes to win fame and fortune in our contest. The chess world is on edge, our contestants are nervous, and the crowd rises.........
