Susan Freeman: <<FtB>< All editors need to remove members from their Ignore list. All editors need to be approachable and aware of all posts, not ignore certain users. Specifically, jnpope needs to clear Ignore list.>

<Stone> what I was referencing. It is irrelevant anyway. <jnpope> knows what he is doing.

Jan-29-23  Rdb: Part 1

Interesting point by <keypusher> I can not comment on the specific point of <keypusher> because o have not studied it , however , his general point is worth pause and thought.

<keypusher> is like - both left wingers (including sane , constructive , rational left wingers) and right wingers spend time in bickering and bashing politicians of opposing ideologies , instead they should engage in objective , dispassionate analysis.

<keypusher> sure follows his own advice and perhaps it would be a good idea to emulate his example

Jan-29-23  Rdb: Part 2

And that is one of the reasons I like decision of <Susan freeman> viz <no GW>

Other people too engage in bickering (And I wish they do not , I wish they emulate example of right winger <keypusher> and engage in objective , dispassionate analysis)

However , no one makes it so obnoxious/toxic/abrasive/offensive/<us vs them>/<jehadi> , to put it mildly , as <George wallace>/<big pawn> . Why does he want to post ? For only one reason , of course , to post his own version of <jehad>/crusade/'cultural war' which is abrasive/toxic/obnoxioux/offensive

Jan-29-23  Rdb: Part 3

Also , right winger <keypusher> and other rogoffland citizens are honest (unless one makes definition of 'honesty ' very rigorous/stringent)

Whereas <George wallace>/<big pawn> and his buddies are thoroughly dishonest and that makes things even more difficult

Jan-29-23  Rdb: Part 4

So , I think , <miss scarlett> should listen to advice of <Susan freeman> and give up crusade about <George wallace>/<big pawn> issue and if he still insists then at least he should emial <susan> instead of raising this issue again on this site because publicly discussing it on this site causes harm only , wasting time of everyone in best case scenario and upsetting good people like <stonehenge> in worst case scenario.

fredthebear: <Jan-07-23 stone free or die: I'd second that. In fact, shouldn't all editors really have the same powers - save for moderating?>

Let's have a clear definition of the duties/powers of EDITORS, MODERATORS, and the managerial role given to the McDonalds. I sure don't want to believe any manipulating information provided from an account that began as a harassing sock puppet last year.

I'll say it again -- ignoring some while listening to others does not sit well for a person in charge. Such leaders should be approachable to ALL, like it or not. Perhaps my mind will change once a clear definition of duties/roles is provided.

Jan-30-23  Rdb: <saffuna: It does look as if there is a limit to how offensive <diceman> can be before the administrators delete his posts. <diceman> said Paul Pelosi getting hit with a hammer was good news. That post is gone>

And <George wallace>/<big pawn> is order of magnitude more vile than his buddy. He should never be allowed back , in my opinion.

And that message confirmed what 'opponents ' of revocation of ban of <George wallace>/<big pawn> have been saying all along - everyone saw the confrontational/aggressive/defiant tone of that message. This guy wants to fight all the time - and in a dishonest , vile manner. That is what we have seen over the years and his latest message saying loud and clear that leopard not going to change his spots. He not going to change . Always trying his best to antagonize/offend/fight those 'infidels ' who do not follow his religious beliefs.

Typical of these forums. You and the troll spout off that I don't know what is what, yet you refuse to inform. That's not fixing the problem. These forums shouldn't be about freely bashing paying members, they're meant to fix the problem, supposedly. So fix the problem by answering the question.

What's the role of editors, monitors, and the McDonalds? Who does what? There are far too many days when NOBODY does what in public view and the troll runs wild.

fredthebear: These personal opinions and personal attacks about other members left hanging in the forums is SO wrong.

As an example, Rdb has 4 consecutive posts above (at some point, this possibility of run-on continuously posting should be prevented by technology) with approximately 17 name droppings, most names mentioned multiple times.

Is it really fair that certain grandstanding/backstabbing members come in and drop the names of others in any fashion -- good, bad, or indifferent and such posts are left up in violation of posting guidelines? Even if the post is not a violation, most people don't appreciate being dragged through the grapevine.

If this were about fixing problems, then read the post, take action if needed, and delete the post. People don't deserve to be permanently struck by another, all too often having read a few posts of/about the other, but certainly not all their posts, yet drew hard and fast conclusions and now wants to growl about said person in the forum.

Any post that contains someone else's name should not be left up more than 24-48 hours in a forum. People don't pay to use this website so somebody else can analyze them publicly and it becomes a permanent record where they feel the need to defend themselves against whatever notion somebody else has.

I do see that there was some editing in this forum and it is much appreciated. People certainly do have a need to express their opinion. However, when it calls out other members by name, that opinion needs to be removed shortly thereafter, else it fosters ill will, and then others take up sides -- what a mess.

Jan-31-23  Rdb: <fredthebear> , you have been talking unfavorably about me all the time . Why ?

Even in your profile you were railing against me .

And even though I pointed out your fallacies about me , you refused to correct them nor you responded.

Are you trying to foster ill will against me in a malicious way ?

Your complaint against me was that I was using vile language .

I pointed out that no one is more vile than your buddy <George wallace>/<big pawn> . And yet , you did not say a word against <George wallace>/<big pawn>. I have yet to see you protesting when your right wing buddies are vile.

So , you are ok with your right wing buddies being vile.

I pointed out to you - umpteen times - that I was vile only against three of your buddies because they were very vile and refused to behave and I was civil to all other of yours buddies (that was before admins enforced guidelines on rogoffland). And yet you continued to rail against me .

People asked you to clean your profile but you refused.

And now you talking about fostering ill will. No one fosters more ill will than you except some of your right wing buddies.

Your right wing buddy <George wallace>/<big pawn> says that he does not want to cooperate with admins, he says that he would continue using vile insults against left wingers and admins should allow him doing that.

And yet , I do not see you saying a word against your buddy <gw>/<bp> . Why ?

Susan Freeman: <FTB> All I said was editors edit, as in the games and bios, and moderators get rid of the weeds that spring up in the garden. That's all you need to know. I understand it is difficult to be corrected.

saffuna: Word salad: To be precise, <get> claims to be a liberal but is far far right.
Feb-01-23  stone free or die: <saff> I won't say it's word salad though.

Just the asinine juvenile punk style of <kudzu>, coupled with a wordplay (maybe not even intended?) by <Suzz>.

But I'm confused by the "italicized" <get>... what does it mean, exactly, here?

(I think you mean <bippy>, aka <kudzu>. But <get is a new one to me)
