5. The BEST OFFTOPIC POST was a close contest, but Carlsen vs Caruana, 2018 (kibitz #509) by Richard Taylor edged out JohnBulten's Kibitzer's Café (kibitz #245373) by a single vote.
6. The FUNNIEST POSTER winner was again User <offramp>, who seems to pwn this category.
7. The winner for MOST CONSTRUCTIVE member was User: <Annie K.>
8. The BEST GAME COLLECTION was won by <Phony Benoni> this year for Game Collection: Ostend 1906, with an honorable mention to <Bubo bubo>, who placed second by only 1 vote with Game Collection: Cabinet of Curiosities.
9. The winner for MOST INFORMED is User: <SwitchingQuylthulg> by a large margin.
10. The BEST HISTORIAN honor was taken this year by User <Phony Benoni>, with last year's winner <Tabanus> placing second by only a single vote.
11. The PLAYER OF THE YEAR winner is Chessgames.com co-founder <Daniel Freeman>, who tragically & suddenly passed away last July. Daniel's crowning achievement—creating this unique chess community—will continue to grow and improve as we build on his legacy.
12. The BEST PUN OF THE YEAR award was won decisively by User <Sargon>, our resident <Punmaster General>, for <To Boldy Go Where No Man Has Gone: b4> Fischer vs J Gloger, 1964. At least he's good for something.
13. The MOVE OF THE YEAR winner is Svidler vs D Andreikin, 2018 with 10 votes, barely edging out Aronian vs Kramnik, 2018 with 9 votes, and Stockfish vs AlphaZero, 2018 with 8.
14. And the GAME OF THE YEAR winner is T Hillarp Persson vs T Laurusas, 2018, with Mamedyarov vs Caruana, 2018 and R Praggnanandhaa vs T S Ravi, 2018 tying for second place.
