WannaBe: So, the Tata Steel blitz were held in India, and players have 6 days to fly to NED for the next (or 2026 first) major event... What is the flight path? Here are some ideas: https://www.flightroutes.com/CCU-AMS

WannaBe: <OCF> Not to mention when TV stations switch red (dem) and blue (rep) to what we know today... On a similar note, in Asia, if the stock shows red, it mean up, green, means down. Go fig.

WannaBe: <suenteus po 147> Oh sure, why not. I'll bring back Handicapper's Corner. =)
Jul-10-06  themadhair: <WannaBe> I have text document that FAR succeeds the dimensions of my desktop environment. Is there any way you know of to be able to take a screenshot of the whole document into an image? Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

WannaBe: <themadhair> I do not fully understand, do you mean the text is not wrapping? And to read the far right text, you have to use the scroll to go to the right?
Jul-10-06  themadhair: To see all the document you have to use the scroll bars. What I want to do is to take a screenshot of the WHOLE thing. The fact that the document is too big and requires scroll bars is preventing me from doing that.

WannaBe: <themadhair> You can change the screen resolution. But the text would get very small. You using Windows?
Jul-11-06  themadhair: <You using Windows?> Yep. Max resolution isn't enough though - its afew thousand characters wide and long. Short of cutting and pasting lots of screenshots into one image I don't know what to do to get a single image of the document (It's ascii art).

WannaBe: It's a few thousand characters wide??? I think you are out of luck, multiple cutting/pasting maybe the only way to go... =(
Jul-11-06  themadhair: O well. Thanks anyway.
Jul-11-06  chessmoron: <themadhair> (as you wish)
Jul-11-06  themadhair: <chessmoron> Mine was worse so don't worry to much about it.
Jul-11-06  JoeWms: <themadhair> (ASCII Art) in Google has many pages for the enthusiasts of the form. You might stumble over a scheme for ringing a big picture down to bite size. Good luck, friend.
Jul-11-06  themadhair: <JoeWms> 3 days of searching and counting.....

Yeah, next one in 4 years. =)

Jul-12-06  chessmoron: <WannaBe> I would actually like you to have the 2007 Women's World Cup in China prediction contest as well. I hope this will be good as the men's side.
Jul-12-06  themadhair: I believe this was why yellow cards for shirt removal was introduced.......

But on a more serious note I second <chessmoron>. With virtually no diving we might spend most of the time watching actual football. (Although they could never top Materazzi getting decked...)

  WannaBe: I'll think about it.
Jul-14-06  ganstaman: Ok, so what are the gory details that get from page 18 to page 19? Or did you just bypass it...?

WannaBe: <ganstaman> (on windows) go to your temporary internet folder, you'll see an html named NINEteen.html, view it's source. If you are using other system, I'm not sure how to do that.

The one thing that struct me, is that NINEteen.html is looping back, so it must have a copy on my local drive (cache).

Jul-14-06  BishopofBlunder: I can't find NINEteen.html in my temporary internet files. Is that the only way to get past page 18?

WannaBe: <BishopofBlunder> use the link I posted in the Cafe.
Jul-14-06  Swapmeet: <Wannabe> As far as 20 goes...just look at the name of the picture file. Notice every third letter is missing. Now apply that to twentyone.

Have fun working on page 21, it was nice knowing you!

WannaBe: <Swapmeet:...it was nice knowing you!>

What?! You leaving us?! I only noticed the vowels (okay, including the 'y') was missing...

Jul-15-06  ganstaman: Wow, I just laid down to go to sleep, then the solution to page 21 hit me. Did you get it, <Swapmeet>, or are you stuck? I'm going away for the weekend tomorrow morning, but if you reply before then and want a little hint, let me know. In return, you have to get all the rest of the pages by the time I get back. :)

I also only noticed that the vowels were missing. Whoever decided to spell twenty with vowels every 3 letters was crafty...
