WannaBe: In case I forgot, congrats to them Lady Bruins. =)) U. Mich (69-63) won, but the last spread I saw was -6.5, so if you took UConn w/ spread, you got very lucky, if you bet on them U. Mich, I feel bad; the O/U was 148.5

WannaBe: <CIO> LOL. I remember those mems... <chancho> North by Norwest, totally agree, the audiences know that the plane scene was filmed earlier and played on a screen behind. It was still drama. Same thing with the Mt. Rushmore chase scene.

WannaBe: ¡Olé! ¡Olé! this is what I see for "¡Olé! ¡Olé!" (game of the day Mar-13-2026) I also know this issue have been around for a while, and it's not that important, in IT term, it is a level 'C', cosmetic fix. But I just wish to report it again. Can CG.com unify this ...

WannaBe: <FSR> March 11 is his birthday, and usually PoD is chosen from the birth date of the player. So unless CG.com decides to change the algorithm on how PoD is decided. We will randomly get "undesired" player(s).

Aug-21-07  brankat: <Technical Draw> To call Amnesty International may be safer. If <WannaBe> is into corruption, then he must have strong connections with CIA.

On the other hand AI is probably corrupt, too. How does one get an amnesty, if not by bribing.

Nowhere to hide :-)

Is it some kind of "internet trick"?

I hope everyone checked the links I gave that give away <MannBee's> true secret identity.

He is not <Peter Parker> or <Clark Kent>, as some mistakenly supposed...

Aug-22-07  brankat: The most educational page in the database:

Game Collection: Games That Need Not Be in the Database

The first game listed has 11 pages of kibitzing. Totally hilarious.

Kramnik-Topalov game 41!

Have fun.

Aug-22-07  technical draw: <brankat> I saw the collection, but I think that Fisher-Spassky 1972 has an historical importance so it should be in the database.
Aug-22-07  brankat: <TD> I agree. The same with Kramnik-Topalov game.

  jessicafischerqueen: they are historical documents.

Aug-23-07  brankat: The blank ones ;-)

Throughout the ages, more of documents, books, records, monuments (not to mention people)... have been destroyed, lost, burned, buried, blanked out... than of those that have survived.

No wonder we know so little about History, and understand it even less. Even a recent one.

WannaBe: I don't have a date on this article: http://www.city-journal.org/html/17...

This is from 2004, http://www.csmonitor.com/2004/0520/... which begs me to wonder, what is the latest status on France and its health care system?? Has it gone bankrupt? How is its services?

Aug-27-07  brankat: <WannaBe> Do You plan to move to France? :-)

No need to worry about France. Or, for that matter about Western Europe, and North America. It is the rest of the planet that is in more than just big trouble. Roughly 5/6 of all Humanity!

WannaBe: <brankat> No, I have not plan to move to France. =)

I was just asking, because someone down at the watering-hole said that French medical care system was on the virge of bankrupt. And that was the only on-line article that I could find. And wanted some more/latest info.

Aug-27-07  Zebra: According to watering holes round here, most of Europe is bankrupt. Notably Germany, which is where most of Europe gets its money from.
Aug-27-07  whiteshark: <Zebra> What do you mean with 'Notably German is bankrupt' ? - Any startling developments I'm oblivious of ?
Aug-27-07  technical draw: <whiteshark> Yes, Angela Merkel has used the whole years budget for plastic surgery for herself. (P.S. It didn't work.)
