 | | jessicafischerqueen: Hey! where do I read the results for <best historian>? And what does the <prestigious and coveted> MannBee Award actually look like? I want to see a picture!!
Regards,

| Dec-16-07 | | Open Defence: <And what does the <prestigious and coveted> MannBee Award actually look like?
> its a couple of tickets to Khanty-Minsk with long thermal underwear thrown in |
| Dec-16-07 | | MarkThornton: Am I too late to nominate <isemeria> for the Best Analyst (non-Computer category) prize. |
| Dec-16-07 | | MarkThornton: If I am too late to vote for <isemeria>, then my vote will go to <Thorsson>. |
| Dec-16-07 | | achieve: My vote for best analyst goes to <Brankat> ... although I should have made an equal split by including <Open Defence> in the nomination round. |
| Dec-16-07 | | Open Defence: thanks <achieve> i vote for <Brankat> too |
| Dec-16-07 | | ahmadov: My best analysis vote is <YouRang> for his very deep, detailed and clear explanation of moves... |
| Dec-16-07 | | square dance: my vote for best analysis is split between <honza> and <mateo>. honza has been doing great analysis on this site for years and is rightfully recognized at the end of each year via these awards/nominations. as for mateo, my eyes always auto focus to his posts during live cg.com events. he may be crafty incarnate. ;-) great job by both of you guys, not to mention all of the nominees and all of the users who contribute with their analysis. |

 | | WannaBe: <jessicafischerqueen> I always announce the winner in the Cafe at midnight (server time). The history, of Caissar, it started with User: Nikolaas (see his profile) and last year, he couldn't do it, due to schedule, so I volunteered to do it. This year, I posted a couple of messages in the Cafe, asking if he was doing it or not, and did not receive any reply. So, I'm volunteering to do it again this year, but <Nikolaas> is always welcome to take it back and resume it. As far as I know, there are no 'statues' or certificates, given to the winner, just announcements (in the Cafe, and if the winner have their forum open, I'll post a notice there too. Example, Red October) |

| Dec-16-07 | | Larsker: Best analysis: <dzechiel>. I enjoy his musings every day - and I like his honesty, admitting when he goes wrong. |
| Dec-16-07 | | whiteshark: I can't but follow 'square dance' and split between <honza> and <mateo>. |
| Dec-16-07 | | valiant: Bäst Analys: <Mateo> och <Brankat> (I wish to thank Mateo for all Ulf Andersson games analyses - stort tack!) |
| Dec-16-07 | | YouRang: Split vote:
<dzechiel> for work on daily puzzles. <whatthefat> for work on GMT game. |
Dec-16-07
 | | OhioChessFan: I ditto <YouRang> plaudits, but my vote goes to <The Chess Express> for his heroic efforts in the Battle of the Brains. You'd also learn a lot by going to his forum and following his analysis of 100's of games. |
| Dec-16-07 | | twinlark: <whatthefat> for best analyst. |
Dec-16-07
 | | keypusher: Historian: Calli & Resignation Trap. There's a good argument for calling it the SBC Chess History award <or> giving it to her every year. I'll vote for Mateo for analysis. |
Dec-16-07
 | | keypusher: Yes, actually following whiteshark, I should split analysis between Mateo and Honza. Though there are lots of worthy people. |
Dec-16-07
 | | keypusher: You know, if there is a most helpful kibitzer/member award, I vote for you, wannabe. |
Dec-16-07
 | | WannaBe: <keypusher> I'll take your second post as the vote (the split one) and yes, there is a helpful category, that's up for vote Tuesday. |
