Jun-02-18  zanzibar: <<KS> Use your search kibitzing and find THE vandal you will.>

You did see the part about the term being "overused and misapplied" didn't you?

Jun-03-18  thegoodanarchist: Here's an idea:

If you don't have a premium membership, then your posts are limited to the same number as whatever day of the month it is.

Today is the 3rd, so you would get 3 posts today. On the 19th you get 19 posts.

He doesn't understand English, full stop, Zanzy. He's a special kind of stupid :)

Mr Freeman.. I've emailed you a reply. Can you kindly reply either here or privately, either way I don't care. Thank you :)

perfidious: <morf>, same reason as none is posted for any of <AJ>'s other games.

Jun-05-18  morfishine: Thanks <perf> I had no idea kbitzing was shutdown for all his games
Jun-05-18  Dr Winston OBoogie: Thank you for your reply. I responded again because I don't think we cleared everything up. Check your email please Daniel :)

You're welcome.

For those who don't know, yesterday we ran a promotion/giveaway for all people who were members of Chessgames any time before 2017. They have all been given 60 days free premium membership "on the house."

Hopefully we'll see some old faces around, or at least the current faces with new avatars.

Note that if you selected your email preferences to not receive emails you are ineligible for the promotion. If you want to get in on it nonetheless, just email chess@chessgames.com and we'll arrange it for you.

Jun-05-18  boz: Nice promotion. Thank you.

  Tabanus: <Tabanus: Welcome back, Sargon!>

That is if you are back now, and willing to give feedback somehow on my correction slips. They are now from 0 to 5 weeks old.

Jun-07-18  Boomie: <Chessgames>

The opening for Anand vs Caruana, 2018 is a Petrov, not a French. To add to the confusion, the ECO code is correct.

Jun-08-18  Chessgames Bookie: I have posted a couple of games from the XIII American Continental Championship Round 10. Place your bets!
Jun-09-18  Gregor Samsa Mendel: I typed in a player search for <Herman Pilnick> and would up getting this:

Herman Suradiradja

What gives?

  chancho: search "Herman Pilnik "
Jun-09-18  Gregor Samsa Mendel: Oops, my bad.
Jun-11-18  Chessgames Bookie: Bets have been posted for rounds 1 thru 3 in the GCT(YNM) tournament. Place your bets!
Jun-12-18  whiteshark: I found that node-jumping somehow funny: Opening Explorer and I wonder if there's something you can improve (if there is a need at all). ;)

  chessgames.com: That's not a bug, it's a feature.
Jun-12-18  Keyser Soze: Ouch. <That> is a personal attack! Hehehe
Jun-14-18  takchess: Two nice to haves.......

It would be cool to have a button to instantaneously create a flashcard of a position.

It would be cool to have a search by position by setting up an online board.

Cheers,
Jim

Check It Out: Square Off chess board is in the current news, might want to stick it there. An automated wood chess set that lets you play opponents around the world (with agreements with chess.com and other online chess sites in the works)

I wouldn’t get one yet. Looks like it has some bugs and first model problems. Could be cool in a few years, though.

chessgames.com: I've seen one of those in action.
Jun-14-18  zanzibar: OK, it's cute, but I'll be more impressed when each piece has vtol capability.

Now, that would be "cool".
