| Nov-16-11 | | TheFocus: <Kingscrusher> You have definitely given me an idea on how to improve my game collections, which are all on Bobby Fischer. In one of the tournaments, I linked to an article that provided new material on Fischer, so maybe providing some links or video footage of games or commentary will spice them up. Looks like I have some work to do.
And if I do link to someone's videos, I will give them notice and use them if they agree. I will take them down if they say no. |

 | | OhioChessFan: P Wells vs Shirov, 2006 This page needs some work. I am not one to make idle threats. If you continue to allow this stuff, I'll toss my Elvis icon back on the shelf and leave. |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: <OCF> Don't leave ... you are maybe not my biggest fan ... but also not a troll! (If all the good users leave, then the negative types win.) |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: BTW - we are in agreement about the page you referenced. |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: http://ratings.fide.com/card.phtml?... (Chahrour) I have no idea why this player is not rated, he has played in several FIDE events ... I just mis-spelled "Neverov," ...
This is just the text-score, the PGN is in my forum. (I have already submitted the PGN many times, I am not going to do it again.) V. Neverov (2543) - Mohamad Chahrour [C41]

 | | Annie K.: <cg.com> FWIW, I also agree with <twinlark>, <Ohio>, etc. - the Bandar-log, uh, I mean the obsessive anti-AJ troop, needs to be dealt with, and not just followed around and retroactively cleaned up after. A nice two-week vacation upon continued acts of vandalism sounds about right - that way they could be back in time for most of the Clue Hunt... ;) |
|

 | | Domdaniel: Retroactively *partly* cleaned up after, even. There's still a smell on the affected pages. Far be it from me to side with Authority -- but this time Law and Ordure are on opposite sides. I choose Law. |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: I would also vote on the side of enforcement. |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | Nemesistic: May i suggest some sort of voting system from all longtime, established members of this site to deal with the so-called "Goldsby Problem"? All Mr Goldsby's friends, and the other people here (Who for their own reasons do not like Mr Goldsby) could vote on..A) Remove Him from the site forever so the insults and arguments cease..Peace would then resume ..B) Remove his Spamming and Advertisments for his video's and webpages hoping that ends the banter? C) Keep on deleting other members postings and remove everyone who appears to have issues with him! ..D) Delete All his postings and let him start afresh .,E) Open his Forum/Player pages so people can speak to him there, instead of Bickering on classic game page's which is why people get annoyed anyway!
I'm just trying to be Diplomatic,as i was a recipient of his rude, humorless and downright Offensive postings within my first few weeks here! He does apppear to cause problem after problem.. |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | LIFE Master AJ: <Neme> That's a joke, right? I am sure that the admins here are fully aware that you are just a sock puppet ... probably a repeat offender who has ben run off before. <lennonfan> |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | Nemesistic: Mr Goldsby,il not spend my time here arguing with an incoherent, strange moron like yourself,i was making reasonable suggestions and could not care less whether they're noted or not..Goodbye |
|
| Nov-17-11 | | frogbert: <chessgames.com>
the stats page has this record:
28. Ian Nepomniachtchi (2746)
under the header "highest ratings achieved in the database". but nepo has never had an official 2746 rating - his highest rating ever is in fact 2733 from january this year. i assume those records might be automatically created based on your data, but still it shouldn't be too hard to find and correct the wrong item(s). thanks! :o) |

| Nov-17-11 | | DrMAL: <LIFE Master AJ: I think this is long past due ... start enforcing the third guideline> Person who by far most abuses guideline is Life MORON AJ! He is by far #1 attacker. <LIFE Master AJ: I am sure that the admins here are fully aware that you are just a sock puppet ...> Just did it again he attacks EVERYONE! <LIFE Master AJ: BTW - we are in agreement> "We" must include his other accounts like <matebay>. I will do best to ignore him, I have better ways to occupy time than be annoyed by Life MORON AJ hope this underwear stain is finally removed, cheers |
|
| Nov-18-11 | | Nemesistic: Well <matebay> there would only be you and him left at this site if people were to vote like you.
And i predict he'd place you on Ignore after a week if you disputed his Analysis! Good luck! |

|
| Nov-19-11 | | whiteshark: re: Kramnik vs Carlsen, 2011 I'd suggest to ECO-classify it as <A20> instead of A00. |

 | | chessgames.com: <frogbert> Sometimes national ratings and/or internet ratings erroneously get mixed in with FIDE ratings. Thanks for pointing out the error. |

 | | OhioChessFan: When kibitzing on a live game, you go to a page to compose your post that shows the current position on the board. It would be a nice touch if that board was an analysis board, where you could play out a few lines. |
|
Nov-21-11
 | | WannaBe: CG.com on the Humpy-Hou live game page, if you click 'all rounds' it takes you to a non-existing tournament page, the tid on that link takes you 75914, but the real tournament page is 75839. <Peligroso Patzer> You can also use the PGN Uploader (main page, bottom) to submit games. |

 | | Diademas: Could it be an idea to refine the search engine to separate between, on one hand, classical/rated games and blitz/rapid/blindfold/simul/what-have-you-not on the other?
Ill guess it would be a very timeconsuming task, but I also think the site would benifit enormously.
Thank you. |
