Come to think of it it would be nice to see a game or two from Tata Steel. How about it <chessgames>? We need more camaraderie around here. |

These are two different problems. (1) The mobile version of the site doesn't support certain inputs; (2) the live game page doesn't support certain inputs. There are still a few other areas of the site with similar known problems: user game collections, the front page of the site (e.g. game of the day title and kibitzing preview tooltips don't support certain characters). We will fix them all, but with our current resources it will have to be one at a time. I've been prioritizing the game collections recently. Reasons: game collections have had the most number of user complaints; game collections sometimes get promoted to tournament pages and it was recently a lot of work cleaning those up; and game collections have the most extensive problems. And it's no easy job, because there are several different tricky encoding scenarios and tons of content that require careful quality control checking. So far, nobody has ever complained about the problem on the front page, a few people have complained about the problem on the mobile version, and I believe yours is the first complaint about the problem in live games. Those are what is driving the priorities, but if kibitzers have different opinions, you can post here and we'll take it into account. |

Jan-24-22 | | George Wallace: It would be nice to be able to filter database results. I'd like to be able to sort out the blitz games (don't want them in the results I want to view) and also by rating and by year. |

<perfidious> Ohio reported data errors- this is not an "attempt to control the site." The more data errors reported, the better. It is perfectly acceptable for any member to report any or all data errors he/she might find. <Susan> has repeatedly invited us to report errors on this page, which is a very good sign for continuing improvements at cg.com. If the new hires don't see the data error reports, they can't fix them. |

Had one player miss five games. That is why the final standings has missing games. Also getting used to the template :) |
