 | | Susan Freeman: societal changes |
|
Apr-25-22 | | nok: <...he's kicking out all the pink pussyhats, all the antifa scum, all the BLM losers, all the WOKE SNOWFLAKES, all the people who constantly whine and cry about HATE SPEECH - he's kicking them all to the curb...> Case in point of a provocative message which has nothing to do here. Blowing the whistle. |

Apr-26-22 | | Z free or die: <<nok> Case in point of a provocative message which has nothing to do here. Blowing the whistle.>
You pussyhat snowflake, Susan eats that zhizz up! Like using caviar to buy a hot dog on the street in New York. But you know who was the bezt at that zhizz?! Big Bone!! Little Georgie-boy is a rank amateur in comparison! LOLS, ROTFLMAO!!! |
|
Apr-26-22
 | | Susan Freeman: Actually nothing of the above belongs here. But I don’t feel like cleaning it up. This all belongs down the hall |
|
Apr-26-22 | | Z free or die: BTW- Just wondering, but is the Big guy still alive? I would think for sure he'd be here adding value to the site at all cost (well, maybe not the premium). |
|
Apr-26-22 | | Z free or die: Free speech baby! If not for me than for Z! |
|
Apr-28-22 | | diceman: Where are the later rounds of:
<American Cup Champ (2022)> |
|
Apr-30-22
 | | Susan Freeman: <diceman> I believe they are there. I think they were draws |
|
May-04-22 | | Olga Man: I saw this and thought fond memories of CG.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fxe...
It makes me a bit nostalgic of days working on <Playzone> :) |
|
May-05-22
 | | Willber G: Hi <Olga Man>, is Olga going to be completed? |
|
May-05-22 | | virginmind: No page for the ongoing 2022 Superbet Chess Classic Romania (Grand Chess Tour). |
|
May-07-22
 | | MissScarlett: Superbet Romania (2022) would be a good opportunity to relaunch the Live Games feature. Steve road-tested a new multiscreen display a while back and nothing more was heard. |
|
May-08-22
 | | Susan Freeman: <Miss S> I think Steve hit a bump in that road, but I will ask him on the morrow. |
|
May-08-22
 | | Susan Freeman: meanwhile, Steve is close to deciphering Chris Owen's code. Time well spent lol |
|
May-09-22
 | | MissScarlett: <Hi <Olga Man>, is Olga going to be completed?> Is it going to be updated to accept null moves? |
|
May-09-22
 | | MissScarlett: How about the game William Hotchkin vs E E Gilbert, 1874 with <Hotchkin's Limp Boner>? Are debilitating illnesses/diseases pun-worthy material? |
|
May-09-22
 | | Susan Freeman: <Miss> I think that is unacceptable, but hilarious. |
|
May-09-22
 | | Willber G: <MissScarlett: <Hi <Olga Man>, is Olga going to be completed?> Is it going to be updated to accept null moves?> I was thinking:
- Scorecard layout
- Players' ratings
- Choice of pawn promotion |
|
May-09-22
 | | MissScarlett: Pity, because here it's argued this is one of the best games of the 19th century: https://chess24.com/en/read/news/fo... I think that's pushing it a bit. |
|
May-09-22 | | Olga Man: Thanks for the interest everyone. I am a bit busy at the moment on this project https://github.com/ProtozeFOSS/Krak... Which I have dedicated to my dog and plan to see finished. v1.3.0 is planned for release in early June and should be the end. I am not the current maintainer of Olga 1.0. I don't even have access to a copy of the current code as all of that belongs to CG as IP and is not open source. I've had a lot of ideas about improving Aria/Olga 2 over the last couple months, none of which I have time on my plate to implement.
https://github.com/ProtozeFOSS/aria <- Check it out if you forgot <Willber G:
- Scorecard layout
- Players' ratings
- Choice of pawn promotion
>
Aria has all of those. Player ratings must be filled by the server (CG). An example with 'ELO' can be found in the second game on the demo page. https://protozefoss.github.io/
It also handles promotions with a promotion dialog. See this GIF for a reminder. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19A... And scorecard layout can be used on CG even though it does not resize correctly. I know Aria has bugs. But it is open source for a reason. I had hoped that even though I built the initial Aria codebase for very little money, I would attract some other developers and make a fun "team project". In the end there was very little interest for working on it from the community. The project is over two years old and no one has ever submitted a single issue or pull request. The only thing that has ever happened, is this fork of the demo website linked earlier https://github.com/stevemcd87/proto... That is 16 commits behind the demo website, so its hard to tell what CG is using as the Aria available in the drop down box. I have added a channel to my discord server to discuss <aria> development if anyone is interested; We can talk in real time there. |
|
May-09-22
 | | Willber G: Thanks for your reply, <Olga Man>. Hopefully someone on CG will pick this up and take it forward. |
|
May-10-22
 | | Willber G: I am reminded of this post from three years ago: <chessgames.com: Olga is still under development. We have plans to eventually offer the popular side-by-side layout (with the player details), as well as enabling it to accept copy-pasted input.> chessgames.com chessforum (kibitz #31890) |

May-10-22
 | | Susan Freeman: <Willber G> as <Olga Man> stated. His plate is full. He is a hard man to corner. RE the IP...a NDA can solve that. In fact, I thought it was a given. |
|
May-10-22 | | diceman: <MissScarlett:

<rue the day> you Superbet <Rue>mania. |
|
May-11-22 | | Olga Man: I added this page to the Aria wiki.
https://github.com/ProtozeFOSS/Aria... Please anyone with time or interest help us build the list of Aria improvements needed. |
