Susan Freeman: <Missy> I appreciate your suggestion about Daniel. Another point I need to make, many posts are deleted due to collateral inference.
Nov-22-23  stone free or die: I for one think the occasional mention of <Daniel> is merited.

I say that in both in the interest of Free Speech, and because I personally agree with <Moronovich>, whose post has been deleted (as has one of mine here - even without quoting the original).

If somethings is posted and delted on another forum, copying and pasting it on any other forum will be deleted too.

fredthebear: <Nov-22-23 Susan Freeman: ,MrMelad> You are correct in saying the posting guidelines are the same in all forums.>

This is absolutely NOT TRUE. editor perfidious doesn't even follow the posting guidelines. perfidious is full of hate and rages away on a daily basis while my personal forum was restricted from the get-go when opened this spring.

<I would like to explain a simple point. If somethings is posted and delted on another forum, copying and pasting it on any other forum will be deleted too.>

This is also NOT TRUE. My complaint was quickly deleted the other day, while Rdb and perfidious copied my post to repost it with their own commentary, which was allowed to stand. Hell, Rdb posts whatever con desired FOUR times -- a clear violation. Yes, the Chessgames double standard in action. FTB was deleted, while the problem posters got to keep theirs. So UNFAIR. Who can count how many times this has happened to FTB? Hundreds if not thousands of times it's happened.

My posts and my account have been constantly abused by CG moderators. Yet my harassers are allowed to say any damn thing they want and it STANDS for ages. It's a pile of CRAP and the filthy evidence is ALL OVER the forums to proove it.

fredthebear: collateral interference is also @#$%*&!#.

I've had many respectable CHESS posts get deleted just because Z free stone me wanted to poke the bear. perfidious can't proove my post wrong, but the narcissist insults me personally -- providing no good chess information -- AND MY CHESS post gets deleted when I was the first to post on the page!!!

You're not speaking the truth Susan!! I've lived this non-sense for years. Some of your editors are the worst abusers on these pages, and in recent years truth tellers are getting hit on by the tech department as well. I refuse to give in when I've paid good money to use these pages fair and square.

I've got more information to share, but I'm not doing it in this forum and you've become almost unreachable since September without the message being deterred by the IT department.

Keep it real.

fredthebear: I've been suspended for days for a ONE sentence post that had no names, no profanity, but was deleted just because FTB wrote it. Nobody else posting that message would have been suspended and it would have stayed in place.

YOU supposedly responded by saying the suspension was NOT for the deleted post!! That jive makes no sense.

Did you really say that Susan, or was that more interference from your IT department pretending to be you??

MissScarlett: <MrMelad: <The Integrity: And now the Mr melad is on the support forum trying to get Stonehedges post deleted>

I wasn't trying to get his post deleted, I was hoping more people will be exposed to what he said to raise awareness and damage his reputation. I'm disappointed it got deleted, actually.>

Kenneth Rogoff (kibitz #36700)

Still confused as to what my response ought to have been.

fredthebear: Here's my cyberstalker your editor taking a shot at "fredthebore" in his personal forum as I'm posting.

<Nov-22-23 perfidious: That most crashing <bore> has returned from yet another 'break' to launch still another campaign of calumny. Not here, though.>

CGs should have dealt with this bully years ago -- guidelines should have been applied to editors.

Nov-22-23  Messiah: <fredthebear> has several excellent points. It is time to start thinking, isn't it?

MissScarlett: I think that User: perfidious and User: Stonehenge should forfeit their moderating capacities (whilst maintaining their other duties), thereby consolidating even great power in the hands of User: MissScarlett. Does this sound reasonable?
Nov-22-23  Messiah: <MissScarlett: I think that User: perfidious and User: Stonehenge should forfeit their moderating capacities (whilst maintaining their other duties), thereby consolidating even great power in the hands of User: MissScarlett. Does this sound reasonable?>

No. Both of them should be b&, and your powers should be stripped.

Nov-22-23  Messiah: Why did you retire <Phony Benoni>'s avatar?
Nov-22-23  MrMelad: <MissScarlett: Still confused as to what my response ought to have been>

First, let me say that I do not seek any drama. I have allowed <Susan Freeman> to delete all my latest posts in this page and she has gracefully done so.

Second, I want to say that this website is dear to me. I do not wish to cause any unnecessary turmoil.

However, despite not wanting to be the center of attention, this situation requires speaking up and raising my voice.

A site moderator, whether a volunteer or staff member, has made death threats against me and all Jewish people. This is gravely serious. It is unacceptable for any reputable site to tolerate such hateful speech from any member, especially a moderator. Any community, virtual or not, should immediately expel such individuals until they show genuine remorse. Additionally, the website must formally apologize and clarify that these views are not representative of its stance, firmly stating its intolerance for such behavior.

This is how it would have been handled in any other social platform.

Nov-22-23  Messiah: <MrMelad> don't expect'em to apologize.

saffuna: <MissScarlett: On a point of principle, I wish people would cease invoking Daniel's name and let him RIP. The same goes for Hitler, and the Nazis, in general, for that matter.>

You'd love it if people stopped invoking Hitler and the Nazis, <roderick spode>.

There have been other examples of "death threats" made on <CG>, with the admins alerted, where no action has taken place. In fact, it could be say the threats were more personally explicit and graphic - and that the perpetrator wasn't disciplined in the least(*).

(*) Well, not until he tried to hack the <CG> server.

But I am not a moderator--merely an editor--so would be relinquishing nothing. This business of my having moderational abilities is but a figment of certain others' imaginations; I have never even requested the privilege of being a mod.

MissScarlett: Well, I'll be...in which case, apologies. I have been misled.

<Ok. Let's move on.>

<Miss Susan>, I will provide you with a temporary email address shortly regarding your earlier communication. Keep an eye on my forum.

Nov-22-23  stone free or die: <<Missy> Well, I'll be...in which case, apologies. I have been misled.>

Holy smokes this is difficult to comprehend and earth-shattering in consequence - that <Missy> could be so mistaken about the vestiges of power within the inner sanatoriums (or, if you insist, sanctums) of <CG>.

<Keep an eye on my forum.>

The scales have fallen from mine!
