  Stonehenge: From a correction slip:

<R Praggnanandhaa vs Carlsen, 2022.

The lifetime score between these 2 players shows Praggnanandhaa beating Carlsen 1-0 in classical chess, but this game is classical and was won by Carlsen, so score in classical is 1-1.>

MissScarlett: Seems to be an issue with some of Carlsen's other games from 84th Tata Steel Masters (2022).

stevemcd87: Not sure what cause the problem was but it was similar to the issue with Live Games not processing the result at the end of the game.

I don't see Lichess streaming it yet. https://lichess.org/broadcast

MissScarlett: chess.com has it. Lichess don't have the Russian championships either.

MissScarlett: Apparently, there's a 47-character limit for lines in an event biography box.

Compare 77th ch-RUS (2024) to 74th ch-RUS w (2024).

If I add the word <Superfinal> to the ladies' event, that limit will be exceeded and it will show as: <Name: 74th Russian Women's Championship Superfinal Event Date: August 17 - 28, 2024>, i.e., without a line break.

Please fix!

stevemcd87: <MissS> We can put a backslash character ("\") at the end of the text to force a line break.

An update has been made to resolve this issue.

<Main Editors> are now able to display an event on the home page. You will need to go to the event page, scroll down to the "Homepage Display" section, then follow instructions. Let us know if you run into any issues.

gezafan: I have a suggestion. There should be pages for those involved in chess who are known for things other than over the board play.

For example problemists and composers of endgames studies.

Here some examples of possibilities.

Raymond Smullyan, composer of retrograde chess problems.

Alexey Troitzky. Russian composer of endgame studies.

Henri Rinck. French composer of endgame studies.

Vladimir Nabokov. Russian novelist who wrote the novel The Defense, about a chess player.

I think having pages for people such as this would interest some members and invite discussion.

So I displayed Oslo (1936), but can't remove it. I suppose this is for new events.

Stonehenge: I can't remember why but the standings got messed up. In that case it's easiest to make a new tid and merge them.
