<Dom> is not banned or in any trouble with <CG.com>.

I got this from the "horse's mouth."

WannaBe: You're leaving in 4 days for Korea? I've got this friend (the local bartenderess) who's going on exchange to Germany for 10 month...

jessicafischerqueen: Who are they exchanging her for?

A top player from the <Bundesliga>?

Is <Germany> near <South Korea>?

Maybe I should be downloading maps of the stinkin airport.

Help I can't speak Korean!!

WannaBe: We are exchanging her for the 'St. Paulie' girl! http://www.stpauligirl.com/girl.php or http://www.stpauligirl.com/images/B... =)

No, she is a senior at the local U. and her major is German, so she's going over there for a while.

jessicafischerqueen: ok where do you find all these pictures???

Heh German exchange student.

OK.

I think I saw a movie about that.

this better be on the "up and up," <MannBee>...

Aug-21-07  Dr.Lecter: Hoping your Korean is coming along well, milady.

I'm going back to the states in 2 days. Can't wait till I'm back to 99 cent burgers, overpriced coffee, and more cars than human beings.

jessicafischerqueen: Yes that sounds appetizing, <my dear Doctor>.

I will be having <kim chi> for breakfast soon.

Is that a <food> or a <Person>?

Aug-21-07  Boomie: <Jess: Hey how soon till you guys organize separate forums?>

Thought you'd have a better chance of finding the answer here. We have some forums set up for the openings. See Mr. Sticky for those. We are waiting to get out of the opening before we crank up the silicon monsters. RV has been posting results at his place. The puters won't find anything new in the openings. It'll be 4 or 5 moves before the forae have any real impact.

Aug-21-07  WBP: <Jess> Mario Uposa. Just dropped a note to you in my place.
Aug-21-07  brankat: <jess> <Is that a <food> or a <Person>?>

Both. You must have heard of instances of cannibalism in SE Asia ;-) Better arm Yourself.

Don't they love arms?

jessicafischerqueen: Yes, they have nuclear weapons in fact!

Note to self:

Make sure to land in "South" Korea

jessicafischerqueen: Tomorrow I'm driving in to town to pick up my passport.

So no knocking things over in here or making a big mess while I'm gone!!

That means YOU <Eyal>.

Aug-21-07  Boomie: <Jess: <Tim> Not so!

I just found out today that the school I'm teaching at has <classical chess> as part of its official curriculum!

So I'll be able to help with this game according to <regular rule> chess.

Heh>

Cool. Of course I was just trying to get that "Seoul mate" pun working.

BTW - If you have any students from NE China, take 'em out for honey rice cakes so you can have a Manchurian Candy Date.

jessicafischerqueen: Heh <John Frankenstein> made the original.

I refuse to see the remake.

Aug-22-07  Boomie: <Jess: I refuse to see the remake.> Don't you just hate it when they remake a perfectly good movie and fall well short of the mark? Lansbury creates one of the most evil characters in movie history. You don't mess with perfection.
Aug-22-07  Dr.Lecter: chess for curriculum? are you serious?
Aug-22-07  Zebra: <Is that a <food> or a <Person>>

I believe generally people have three names, things to eat usually only two. How many names have you got by the way?

Aug-22-07  brankat: Apparently only one = jessicafischerqueen :-)

Oh wait that's 4...

WannaBe: I swear, if <Boomie> make any more puns like those, I'm gonna put him on the ignore list. They are just horrible!! =)
Aug-22-07  JoeWms: <WannaBe: I swear, if <Boomie> makes any more puns like those, I'm gonna put him on the ignore list. They are just horrible!!>

Hey, buddy! That's not fair. A pun is the artistic portrayal of a man's mind and should never, <ever>, be thought to be bad.

Like <Boomie>'s pun, "Manchurian Candy Date," for example. If you could see it as a picture of a man's mind, you would then describe it as . . . well, as . . . as offal, just offal.

WannaBe: Reminder to self, add <JoeWms> to ignore list. =)
Aug-22-07  Open Defence: <Make sure to land in "South" Korea> and do not talk about World War II movies.. or M*A*S*H
Aug-22-07  chessmoron: <Open Defence> M*A*S*H is actually a parody of the Vietnam War not the Korean War. At the time United States government ban all Vietnam pics so the producers of M*A*S*H set their backdrop to Korean War to appease the government.
