Sep-30-11  waustad: Sorry for the multiple mosts, but malthrope has been seen often of late on chessbomb and says he'll be back here when his computer is fixed. Maybe he can do that on a phone or maybe at a cafe with internet of something. I remember a coin (maybe dollar) op one in Carlsbad Cal. I don't know why he can be there but not here. He greeted several regulars from here.

jessicafischerqueen: Thanks <Big> and <Hug> for the songs- oldies but I like them both.

Just so you know, I'm not actually a "secret agent" for the Spanish Inquisition, though I understand how some might get that impression.

My mother, however, did the post-production sound engineering on "Dark Side of the Moon."

  chancho: Hi <Jess>.
I came upon that song by the Cure while driving with my youngest son. He (19 years old) inserted his CD in the CD player and the song started to play. I asked him who was playing that song and he said the Cure. I was surprised.

WannaBe: Saw that you dropped by my place, I am doing fine and dandy in NorCal, thank you very much. =)

Enjoy my work a lot, finishing my second month back at work, last Friday was the end of our fiscal year, so everyone around the office was a bit busier than usual, for Friday.

I am not a programmer anymore, per se. But a 'systems administrator', I think there is a typo on my business card, it should have said 'senior vice president', or 'benevelent dictator for life', but hey, can't have everything.

How much longer you have to do in Korea, or is it like the military, you can 're-enlist' and do another tour? Are your Korean improving? Do you cuss like the natives now? Aye?

Or, the better question, have they stopped calling you 'pale-skinned white devil' behind your back? =)

jessicafischerqueen: You sound happy <MannBee> I'm glad you found a hive to your taste in California.

It's well known that your kind is welcome there, because you help pollinate the Grape Plants on the many vineries.

No after more than four years they accept me now but I'm still going to have to apologize to that guy I yelled at on Saturday.

jessicafischerqueen: <Hugin> thanks for taking the time to comment in support of the video projects- I'm still editing a biography of <Nezhmetdinov>, forever, it seems.

Here are our colleagues at <CG.com> who have helped me to research and produce these chess history films:

<Crawfb5>, <Annie K>, <chancho>, <Thanh Phanh>, <Travis Bickle>, <suenteus po>, <Phony Benoni>, <benzol>, <AJ Goldsby>, <Achieve>, <dakgootje>, <Boomie>, <switching owls for thugs>, <whiteshark>, and <keypusher>.

Possibly some of them don't even know they helped me but they did.

Apologies if I left anyone off the list, please remind me if I did.

I think a correction slip could do the trick.

Oct-03-11  Travis Bickle: Hey Jess are you compiling your horror movies for Halloween? ; P

jessicafischerqueen: <T-Dawg> how did you know? I'm making a highlight movie for my kids as we speak.

I've decided to teach two full weeks of Halloween material, since it's my favorite holiday.

Also I've been warming up by watching some of the new horrors.

I can't recommend "Red Riding Hood" even though the sets and cinematography is stunning, and so is <Kirsten Dunce Cap> she's quite beautiful I find.

I can however recommend the Norwegian movie about hunting Trolls, and also the the newer movie "Grave Encounters" about some twats who film their ghost hunting show in the wrong house.

I liked it a lot, also I'm a big fan of <The Blair Pimp Project> and <Parasailing Activity I> and <Parasailing Activity II>.

<Parasailing Activity III> will be out this year, although I don't know how they will do it since all the characters from the first two are already dead except that annoying kid.

I hope they don't turn him into <Chucky> or something, although he *is* doing a good job at <Bilbo Baggins Tournament of the Stars>, he really spanked <Lev Ironing, Washing, and other Woman's Work>.

They should be alright watching that movie, my family is not that ugly looking, though they made a movie about us not asking first hehe.

Best regards
