  Diademas: Hello Jessica.

I would just like to thank you for your stellar work in collecting and producing historical videos. It has brought me much joy! Oh, and congratulations with the awards. They were highly deserved.

Regards.

Jan-18-12  Travis Bickle: Hi Jess, nice to hear from you! How are you enjoying your vacation? ; P
Jan-18-12  Travis Bickle: So Jess, did you build a snowman yet in The Great White North? ; P

jessicafischerqueen: <tbonesteaks> It's too cold for snowmen. We had to dig out the cars three times today. Humorously, there are so many deers here that you see them every day, nobody pays them any mind.
Jan-19-12  Travis Bickle: Do you guys ever see Bigfoot once in awhile LOL!
Jan-19-12  Travis Bickle: Oh by the way Jess, speaking of Scarlett Joahnsson, did you ever see the film Lost In Translation? It stars Bill Murray and my wife Scarlett. ; P It was directed by Sofia Coppolla, Francis's daughter. I didn't like the film very much the first time I saw it but when watching a second time I really liked it! It's about the special relationships we have with others that effect our lives, even if just for a brief time.
Jan-19-12  Shams: <Travis Bickle> Forgive me but I couldn't help overhearing. I know a little bit about the Sasquatch!

Here, randomly, is an article from <jfq>'s hometown paper, published the year I was born (four months subsequent) and concerning the Indian reservation that was basically my back yard growing up. http://www.bigfootencounters.com/ar...

Sgt. Cooper's description of the creature's yell fits the classic profile. =)

There are many more recent sightings too, of course. HOOOWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO

Jan-19-12  cormier: <jfq> mam ... it would be a possibility for us to talk on the phone .... i'd be very happy to hear you ..... <pgp> will ask you for me, i hope, tks G

jessicafischerqueen: <T-bone> while I don't like any of Sofia Coppola's films, I haven't seen lost in translation, but I will indeed watch it on your recommendation.

I'll have to wait till I get back to Korea though. I stupidly plugged my new laptop into a Canadian outlet, thinking there was no problem last vacation, and I've apparently fried the video card on it. Which I'll have to replace in Korea.

The good news is that the OP and all my files appear to be unaffected. Difficult to use the computer with the monitor flashing on and off, however. I'm hoping it will be 'magically fixed' back in Korea just by being plugged back into a Korean socket, but I kind of doubt it.

jessicafischerqueen: I've been looking for Bigfoot in BC for over 20 years, no luck yet. No luck for anyone else either. I can tell you that the "scientific" Discovery channel "documentary" on Bigfoot is a disgrace. One of the main recent sightings they "document" in the film had already been claimed by local kids in my home town as a hoax. This was reported in our local paper befoe the Discovery Documentary was released.

That's just sloppy research. The last unsolved Bigfoot sighting in my home town was in 1975 when an RCMP officer actually filed a police report stating he saw a Bigfoot cross in front of his cruiser on the back highway into my hometown from the Trans Canada highway.

Jan-20-12  Travis Bickle: M'Lady Jess, how are you surviving the brutal winter?

P.S. it's freezing and snowing in Chicago. ; P

Jan-20-12  Knight13: <jessicafischerqueen> Greetings. Aren't you the famous historian with a Ph.D. in Chess History? I've recently finished reading <Endgame> by Frank Brady, and I really want to know your opinion on the book. Any insights will be appreciated!

Jan-21-12  Travis Bickle: Jess if I lived in Canada I would use my Marine training to hunt polar bears with a crossbow and bring you home a nice rug! I mean anybody can kill a polar bear with a high powered rifle, what's the sport in that? ; P

Here's my last polar bear I bagged in the North pole. I still suffer from the frostbite! ; P

Jan-21-12  Hugin:

Hello folks i think Jessica prefer polar bears to survive, unless in selfdefence.. This clip is a bit harry though, so do not try it kids.

harrylime: <Jess> I won again last week. That's six straight wins on the bounce! My opponent was a 184BCF and I played garbage in the opening.. won it in the ending.

Encouraging that I can let my opponent 'equalize' on move 5 when I'm playing white and still go on to win.. Discouraging in that my knowledge of the f5 in the ruy is so poor ..

If you're interested I can post the endgame position up on here ? If not I don't blame you ! lol

Anyway .. I'm ganna go make a black coffee.. Just having trouble moving from my position, my head is getting so heavy lol
