jessicafischerqueen: <FOR GHODS SAKE GET OUT OF THE BUILDING THERE'S A BOMB>

heh...

It took me a long, long time to figure out what you were on about.

Then it hit me-

"Tim Litten."

It's right in your profile.

But we don't know what the A stands for.

I'm going to guess

"Timothy Aga-Khan Litten"

Do I win a bun?

Nov-01-13  Travis Bickle: Hey Jess, I might have played this song before but it's a good one! ; P

Nov-02-13  Boomie: <All I want to do, ever, is play Jess:Do I win a bun?>

Close enough. Only one syllable away. Good enough for a bonus bun.

So you're confirming that your middle name is "AgKhan"?

I suspected as much...

I didn't get where I am today by writing books about how to play chess like me.

Nov-05-13  Open Defence: yeah apparently that was his great idea for making it big with the ladies :-p heh
Nov-05-13  Shams: <Open Defense> That's by far the biggest reason young men take up rock!

Which Beatle was he? I bet the band pictures are hysterical.

Thanks for the "Nut Bunnies" too. I'm assuming this is not "screwhead music"?

Nov-08-13  achieve: Hi Jess - how are you? A few butterflies on the eve of the big Anand Carlsen Clash? Or have you turned truly into a Mrs. Historian by now? ;)

I had promised to send you a nice picture of Timmie, and in the email I just sent are a few for you. He is doing great, over the last week really has grown out of "puppy-dom" I would say.

Prediction?

Timmie thinks Carlsen all the way, but I feel certain Anand has in fact very good chances in this fairly short 12-game match. The Divine Race will start tomorrow morning my time, probably early evening yours?

Maybe a few nerves at start, but I expect very high quality chessical clashes for just about every single game. If Anand draws first blood we will be in for some "drama" even, I predict. Anand will have two Whites in a row - games # 6 & 7 - and his aim must be to get in the lead by then, at the latest. That's one scenario.

  jessicafischerqueen: <Niels> nice one!

I'll check in now for latest TOP SECRET <Timmie> photos.

Hard to dispute <Timmie's> prediction, though I'd say in such a short match either player could win.

<Botvinnik> didn't like the old 24 game format- he suggested that 16-18 games would produce the best chess, because nobody could keep up the emotional and physical tension much longer than that.

I'd prefer a 16-18 game format too.

Although you know the Soviets used to have those 12 game playoff matches- some of them were pretty exciting and produced some great chess.

I love both <The Magnificent Ambersons> and <M. Night Shamalayan> so much that I can't really "cheer" for either one at the expense of the other.

Part of me would become really anxious if <I Don't Want to Work on Maggie's Farm No More> didn't win, because to me it would be a nightmare scenario for chess history if he never did become world champion at some point.

On the other hand, if <V.K. Rowling> won just one more match, he'd certainly go down as one of the toughest match champions ever, such as <Wilhelm Frankenstein> or <Emanual Labor>.

I guess overall I'm going to be cheering more for <Magazine Subscription> though.

I agree with your assessment- if <Ankgor Wat> has a lead going into games 6 and 7 he may prove a very hard nut to crack.
