jessicafischerqueen: Your over there regimen sounds salubrious! Interestingly, in Canada we save time by spelling "music and poker" as "moker." Initially we spelled it "poomus" but that sounded a little too declasse, even for us...

Nov-08-13  achieve: <Emanual Labor> Hahahaha

How do you like the photo where Timmie has that chewing stick in firm grip?

<Jess> Well it's true, Mr Shamalan is still a proud man, only 44 years old when you think about it and that is not old, as in, you know, "old" - and a brilliant chess mind still, to boot, so Mags has got his work cut out for him... Both have. I can't pick one over the other, really, but do hope chess will be the winner. Carlsen is on a date with destiny so he will win it this time or the next; I have no worries or doubts about that.

OhioChessFan: A real tear jerker, high tenor, country, could be a recipe for Screwhead Stew, but this is for sure not Screwhead Music.

Too true.

Nov-10-13  Travis Bickle: Hey Jess, that Hank Snow version you linked me was a big hit for Johnny Cash & it was written by Kris Kristofferson who also penned Me & Bobbie McGee for Janis Joplin.

OhioChessFan: Beyond awesome, isn't it? Not sure what you'd call it. Fusion maybe. Or maybe just great music.
Nov-10-13  twinlark: Either will do me. I've loved it since it was released several centuries ago.

I thought the Fripp, Bruford, Wetton and Cross era was fabulous, although they've done some fantastic stuff since. Some of the almost-KC/ProjeKcts material where they experimented with the 2-bands-in-1 combinations was amazing.

I notice King Crimson reformed in its 8th incarnation a couple of months ago.

True, I have noticed that also. Of course, <jess> deleted my answer to her. Basically, all I did was tell her to keep her preaching to herself, and that we would keep off each others Forums.>>

Just in case you may have forgotten, Jess, and Trav. I'm stepping up "Operation expose Lazarus for a niddiott"....... Just in case! Later I plan on using the search kibitzing function for funzies too.
