This is the funniest thing I have encountered this year. Good thing I wasn't drinking a beverage when I read it...

  jessicafischerqueen: heh... "Primate"...

<The Primate of All Ireland>

Speaking of other famous Scotsmen, I assume you're familiar with Billy Connolly's infamous joke?

The punchline:

"____ me?

I'm the POPE!

_____ you!"

Jan-18-14  Boomie: <Primate>

Curiously, the Pope wrote "The Ape of the Loch". Amazing how everything is connected.

Ah <Alexander "The Pope" Pope>.

heh they forced me to read that and I still just about missed your pun. I actually came here to ask you what the "Ape of the Loch" was.

I see you are carrying the <Ohio Challenge> over here.

Good move. One wonders if he can maintain the war effort on two fronts.

Jan-18-14  Boomie: <One wonders if he can maintain the war effort on two fronts.>

I fear he has been struck dumb by my opening salvo of condiments. Perhaps he does not approve turning a simple pun war into a food fight.

OhioChessFan: Wanna food fight? You're gonna get licked, sucker. I was going to start by throwing some nuts at you, but they're so expensive. I saw some that cost an almond a leg.

"Matt Monroe" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dy-...

Interesting. Bizarre, terrifying with a catchy melody.

I should remark also that the uploader included an appropriate series of nightmarish "life in the 1950s" images.

I never heard you FAVORITE BEETLES SONG before, but it's certainly excellent:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pav...

Me and <Trebbis> and <OhioBeatlesFan> were discussing earlier how many "lesser known" Beatles songs are excellent, even as good as their big hits. Of which there are already 40,000 lol.

Paul Jones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ok...

Well who knew he used to be in <Manfred Man>, or that he was a German?

This track works only as unintended parody for me- way too much "Cliff Richard" vibe.

"Bill is Dead" by <The Fall>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9z...

Never heard of them, but this is a quality track.

Great singing voice, reminds me of <Lou Reed>. Plus interesting lyrics and refreshingly unpretentious video images. I'm forced to give this one a THUMBS UP YER ARSE.

Well I liked this track. Shoot me.

Scene from Jean Cocteau's <Orphee>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CSL...

I actually seen this film several times- beautiful. Kind of like a high brow version of the original "Carnival of Souls," although Cocteau fanatics may want to hang me for saying so.

The first time I was forced to watch it in "Film as Art" at uni, but I came back several times for the beauty, and horror.

Do you think the <Cocteau Twins> liked this film?

In case you don't know, the Cocteau Twins "Official Website" is the best "Official Band Website" I've ever seen- bar none: http://www.cocteautwins.com/

<The Smiths> "Well I Wonder" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hzr...

No such thing as a "poor Smiths track" and hearing Morrisey again is always like going home.

Here is my favorite track by him though it's not <The Smiths>:
