Jan-30-15  Alien Math: <jessicafischerqueen> China has been some busy block or restrict chat apps like Line and Kaokao Talk,

busy start of year

Jan-30-15  playground player: <Alien Math> Twice last year I was amazed to find that my blog received a view from China.

Sounds like that won't happen anymore.

Jan-30-15  chessmoron: <playground player> I just access to your blog from China.
Jan-30-15  playground player: <chessmoron> I'm glad to hear it. Was that you, those other two times?

Got a view from Mongolia last week, the only time I ever got one from there--1 out of 53,000.

No views from Bolivia, Luxemburg, or little Montenegro.

Jan-30-15  chessmoron: No, I didn't notice you have your own blog till now.

<Shams> Good heaven, if I had trouble figuring out "Gold Bullion" I can't be expected to decipher your latest code.

I'll try though.

I went blind when I was 18?

I'm not 18, but I wish I were. In Korean the word for 18 is "ship-pal."

But "shi-bal" is the worst curse word in Korean. It's so terrible that it can't actually be translated into English.

Needless to say, when opportunity arises I enjoy telling my students to turn to page shi-bal.

Feb-06-15  Shams: <jess> No, your list of Horror movies puts that Franju film at 18th. I haven't seen *any* of the higher-rated movies but I nevertheless state baldly that LYSV is better.
Feb-06-15  Travis Bickle: Jess here is 1 of Canada's Finest, Crazy man Martin Short...

<Shams> Aha!

Yes "Eyes without a Face" is one of the greatest horror movies ever.

The list isn't in any particular order though. So it isn't really number shi-bal.

Excellent- isn't youtube great for these "out takes" and alternative versions?

This acoustic track of "No Expectations" is as good as it gets.

<Travis> For yet another entry of acoustic gems from famous rock bands, here is Steve Hackett's take on a well known passage from Brahms-

"Horizons" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kjg...

Be sure to set it for "1080p" or it will sound like you are hearing it from inside a tin can.
