<THE MAN WHO SHOT LIBERTY POOSOO>

Or anything you want.

Happy that my little contest has widened your obviously vast knowledge base.

When they started printing all of Bach's work around 1800, LVB ordered everything they had. A friend of his said that in his home, there were always manuscripts lying around. And he only saw Handel, Bach and Mozart there.

Had Mozart lived, LVB would have been his student. Mozart went to see the teenage Ludwig, who was making a name for himself playing the Well Tempered Clavier. He played for Wolfie who said, "That's fine for sight reading. Now let's hear you improvise on it". So he jammed a bit and Mozart said "We'll have to keep an eye on this lad." Who knows how Mozart's music might have evolved given Beethoven's influence.

Aug-31-16  Boomie: Given our gracious queen's edict that everything must be footnoted by a professional scholar, I must admit that my Wofie meets Luddite story is something a historian pulled out of his nether regions 100 years after.

Jeez!

Aug-31-16  posoo: posoo DID IT.

thks u all dis is da ONLY place on da whoal site where i feel injoyment.

Aug-31-16  User not found: You enjoy yourself posoo :)

Lol. Check this out for insanity, Jeff.. Conte just re-signed Luiz for 45 million!

So.. How many months do you think he'll last? I'll give it till December and if Chelsea aren't top 3 and in the cups he's gone. Abramovich doesn't mess around. PSG must be LTAO

Aug-31-16  Travis Bickle: <Boomie> Yo Boomster, Had Mozart lived Ol' Ludwig Van would have gone electric & spoiled Dylan's fun!

Hi <Jess>! ;)

Aug-31-16  Boomie: <Annie K.>

Thanks for posting that wonderful story. With Haydn, I consider Liszt to be the nicest characters in the history of music. They always made time to encourage and school young musicians.

<Annie> I remember years ago when you and I agreed that it was basic politeness to say "hello" to the forum host if you're answering someone else's post, and you haven't visited that forum for a long time- or ever.

Thanks for keeping this custom alive!

I'm sure you know that Jeff Lynne was a big part of revitalizing George Harrison, and getting him excited about making new music again:

Aug-31-16  Travis Bickle: Thx Jess for the video, I never seen that before!

Here's a video I played on the Cafe recently, where Jeff talks about watching The Beatles record as a young musician on a special that was on U.S. TV a few years back.

Jeff Lynne, Joe Walsh & George's son Dhani - Something https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dKO...

P.S. I hope you can see this over there.

Great performance thanks brah. I've seen lots of Dhani in a documentary about Jeff Lynne organizing the Wilburys. I wonder why Dhani doesn't start his own music career?

lol did you see the shot of <The Dude> in the audience at 0:6 of the video?
