<Sir Edward Gibbon> Brilliant idea, and also to use Rock Me Amadeus for support. I think <Teem> is right- <Voolfy> would fit right in with the glitter crowd.

He would do well on a double bill with this gentleman:

<jess: I had no idea New York was in New Zealand.>

Knowing your sense of humor, you're probably pulling my leg about this whole thing, but my point is that <HeMateMe> is not from New Zealand.

(You'll become acutely aware of this, as I have, after reading a few hundred posts in which he insults New Zealand because <Colonel Mortimer> is from there.)

Oh, before I forget: Happy Thanksgiving!

<HOZZA> Thanks for that superb MANCHESTER playlist- I hadn't known some of those groups are from Manchester.

My favorite of the playlist is Bernard Sumner's beautiful singing on "Age of Consent": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ah...

Coming from the legendary <Joy Division>, he proved himself a real poet eh? The synthesizer on this track reminds me of their "Atmosphere," my favorite <Joy Division> song:

<Sir Edward Beatle>

Great find on the new MUSIC PLAY SITE since youtube gets so many videos deleted for copyright.

This arrangement of "She's Leaving Home" is exquisite: http://musicpleer.cc/#!e15574c81b81...

Also quite right- <Volfy> has to be <The Beatles> because he was so far above the rest, in a league of his own- same as the Fab Four.

My good <Irada>

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Korea. We have <Squidsgiving> which is very, very different, as you might imagine.

I'm Canadian so back in Canada we do celebrate Thanksgiving, but on the correct day, which is several weeks before American Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving commemorates that sacred moment when the Canadian electorate finally voted in a Prime Minister who wasn't <Pierre Trudeau>.

<Jack Webster>, the noted radio personality, and crank, infamously broadcast this analysis:

"Thank you for giving us a Prime Minister who isn't Pierre @#$%* Trudeau."

Americans later adopted this holiday for their country when they became jealous that we had one more bank holiday than they did.

I hope this clears up any possible holiday confusion.
