<tbonee> That Kurt Cobain version is something special I tell you, especially the way he has arranged and played his guitar.

Outstanding! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pxu... Jess, I just listened to that Kurt Cobain tune again with heaphones & the arrangement is outstanding! He even has the same sounding electric guitar, (a Fender), that Harrison used on Let It Be..

Very good call <T-ball> Ian Anderson always sounds best when he lets his "inner Celt" out to play.

Also flute and mandolin are excellent Christmas instruments.

And now for something completely different, this is how they celebrate Christmas in Kpop-land:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qCP...

It's from <Crayon Pop> which is my favorite Kpop act, largely because of their goofy costumes and choreography.

<T-pop> That Christmas song is actually a slightly changed version of <Crayon Pop's> "Bar bar bar," which you can see here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMq...

This video cost $370 to produce, but the track ended up earning more than $2,000,000 for <Chrome Entertainment/Sony>.

It became the 2nd most popular Kpop video in history after <Psy's> Gangnam Style.

<Lady Gaga> liked the video so much she hired <Crayon Pop> as the opening act for her <Art Rave> tour of 2014.

Here they are opening for the Chicago show of that tour, filmed by a fan who I believe was drunk at the time:

<tPOP> Any truth to the rumor I'm currently spreading that you were the person who filmed that <Crayon Pop> performance in Chicago?

P.S. I didn't know you taught choreography in South Korea.. Well done Teacha!

<Saint Sy of Flagon>

Well I watched the Manchester DARBY and a most excellent match it was!

First, from the perspective of the <Tottenham> supporter, the right side won (sorry brah). We want to claw back as many points from <United/Gunners/Liverpool/Chelsea> as possible or we might miss out on next year's UCL.

Second, it was much more open and exciting than some past editions of this DARBY. I think the neutral footy fan will have gloried in this action.

At first I was upset that <Gary Neville> wasn't doing the color commentary, which he normally does on <Sky Sports> broadcasts. Usually we get <Martin Tyler> on play by play with <Gary Neville> in the booth, and <Jamie Aircraft Carragher> providing periodic reports as "the man on the pitch."

This time they put <Jamie Aircraft Carragher> in the booth with <Martin> and enlisted <Thierry Ennui> as the "pitch man."

<Gary Neville> is the best commentator in history because of his cool accent and eternal crabbiness, but don't get me wrong: I do like <Aircraft Carragher> and <Ennui>.

But nobody who actually speaks "English" can understand a word either of them says, because of their OUTRAGEOUS Scotch and French accents, respectively.

QUESTION: When did the Scots decide that it would be a good idea to use a six letter alphabet? Currently they only use aeiou and sometimes y.

Was it to save money by not having to buy any consonants?

I mean really.

Here is a <Jamie Aircraft Carragher> translation (courtesy of Google):

<Carragher>: "'Eer oo'in' or'ar oo a oo 'ae o oo'aa.

<The King's English> "We're looking forward to a good game of football."

Oh also on <Henrikh Nicotinearian>, you aren't the only one wondering what the heck happened to him.

During the DARBY <Martin Tyler> actually asked "what has happened to Nicotinearian?"

I think <Jose "Canseco" Merniho> has "disappeared" him. There are dark rumors that he has actually razed <Nicotinearian's> home village, so as permanently erase any hint that he was ever alive, let alone a starter for United.

Indeed, <O'Taryan> has not just been missing from the team, but also the bench for the entire period. Your village extermination theory may therefore be correct. To be fair, he did go 'off the boil' for a few games before the hit squad were dispatched, but such measures seem drastic nonetheless.

Regarding the DARBY, it was a decent game to watch, and I completely understand your wayward allegiances, lol, but I felt that <Merino> needed to find his inner wolf and shed the sheep's clothing. <Alan 'Sheep Shearer' Shearer>, talking on the BBC, said that United would have been "torn to shreds by City's offensive players in an open game" and so Merino "had to play it conservatively". Yet Shearer forgets that such risk-taking paid dividends against <The Arse>, so maybe a repeat performance was the best try, as City can also make defensive blunders.

I should probably say that it's <Scouse>, not Scottish, in the case of <Aircraft Carragher>, but the Scots are equally unintelligible, even to us Geordies, who share a border.

Jamie can even make The Beatles sound well spoken ...

Like you, I'm a big fan of Gary Neville and all those commentators who don't mind upsetting folk with their honesty, like Shearer, <Danny Boy Murphy> and Jermaine Jenas.

There you go - I mentioned <Jermaine Jenas>, so my post was, after all, replete with Spurs content, as I promised it would be!

Domdaniel: <jessi> are you saying that 'R' is rilly a vowel? That is a Saxon decadent heresy, not to be countenanced in Celtic lands, where Rrreal men and women rrroll their rrr's.

Domdaniel: <jessi> When Paul McGrath played for Ireland, his adoring fans would chant "Ooh Ah, Paul McGrath!" ... then, when Nelson Mandela visited Dublin, the chant was "Ooh ah, Paul McGrath's Da".

It should be noted that the 'th' in 'McGrath' is silent. Just say 'Magrah'.

Dec-16-17  Alien Math: love the <Crayon Pop> videos, they have a light and fun music style and outfit selections,
