No...it's not Capote.
1st hint - It's not from a book. |

QUESTION: What is a Dittohead?
ANSWER: Capote
lol even I know that is wrong eh? |

I do know what a Capote is though. It is those weird green vegetables sniffy people put on their salads amirite. |

I was going to think up a pun for Rush, but I was in too much of a hurry |

<Ohio> Leave the gun. Take the Capote. This is a reference to Michael Corleone leaving the restaurant after he shoots Saluzzo and the Police Captain? He drops the gun and if I remember correctly, he is chewing on a delicious slice of "Capote" as he leaves. FUN FACT: "Capote" was accidentally discovered by <Truman Capote> after he left a plate of Rigatoni al Jolson on his table for a couple of days. |

<Tiggler> Yep, and even the "well-meaning" folks haven't learned to curb their self-indulgence by adopting the <Ohio rule>- Answer an offtopic post if you absolutely feel you have to, but never follow that up with a second. Or third. Or thirtieth. |

<Tiggler> Thanks for the notice about <Sargon>. I just came back from the chessgames.com "argument forum" and saw you asking about <Nijerjazzman>. He has been slowly disintegrating for the last 10 years, by my count. Despite current evidence to the contrary, he is far from stupid. His earliest incarnation was <angslo>, and if local sockologists are correct, he has been reborn at least twice into his current incarnation, though I wouldn't have figured that out myself, if it is indeed true. I remember <angslo> because he used to get into honking arguments with <Achieve>, who is now some years absent from cg.com. <angslo> used to post a lot on the <Carlsen> page, if I remember correctly. He was prone to sudden breakdowns in which he would supply many unasked details about his mental illness and the various treatments he got for them. Nowadays he seems to have undergone some kind of religious something or other, though what that might be, exactly, is beyond me. The now absent <Ibdel Irada> thought highly of his intelligence, and used to defend him now and again on the <Rogoff> page. I remember fighting about something with <angslo> years ago but I've long since forgotten. I don't have stomach for fighting any longer, so I try to avoid it, and to avoid reading about it as well. |

Actually in all fairness it is much easier to type out the <Ohio rule> than it is to follow it. |

<Abdel Irada>, I should say. It's too bad he left. He had many interesting things to say, in my view anyways. |

| Aug-21-18 | | thegoodanarchist: Oh yes, I almost forgot! I wanted to say that I like <Boomie>'s posts, for the most part. But some of them are udderly ridiculous:

<Gentlemen> You are really outdoing yourselves in this bitterly contested "pun-off." I haven't laughed this hard since my boyfriend got his wiener caught in the washing machine. There are many standouts, but I'm afraid this pun here takes the pole position- this is currently numero uno in this titanic struggle: <I was going to think up a pun for Rush, but I was in too much of a hurry> |
