"You haven't done the dishes, have you?" When I was about 12 we had just learned those particles in school - and some young British person came to visit. Don't really know why. But it seemed good fun to learn all the knowledge we had, so we went along with it. And we had just learned those little fairly superfluous sentences [hadn't we] - so we used those whenever possible.
