| Dec-18-16 | | WinKing: Thanks <lostemperor> for running & hosting another action packed contest!
The winner was in doubt till the very end.
Congrats to all of the medal winners! A hearty congratulations to that crafty veteran HOF'er <wordfunph>(1G) picking up his third overall gold in this contest. I'd like to welcome new HOF'ers <offramp>(1G) & <paavoh>(1G). Good job by both of you on picking up a gold. Great pickin' guys! Always fun to play here <lostemperor>! :) |
|
| Dec-18-16 | | YouRang: My apologies for stinking up the standings. However, it is us stinkers who make the medalists look good! Congrats to them, and thanks to <lostemperor> for another well-run contest. |

That's got to be some sort of record for biggest gap between last and second last. If it's not, I'd bet on it being me in a previous tournament. Thanks for running the show <Yoda> I was my typically pretty bad self in this competition. |
|
Dec-19-16
 | | offramp: Yes, thank you <lostemperor> for hosting the competition. I couldn't do all that calculating! Congratulations and commiserations to all participants. |
|
Dec-19-16

|
| Dec-19-16 | | alfamikewhiskey: Thank you for hosting, and congrats to the winners. <ocf><biggest gap> That might very well be; I d i d particularly bad here - doubting So and Anand, trusting Giri to end with a plus score (amongst other grave flaws). Still, great fun as always! |

Dec-19-16
 | | moronovich: Thanks for hosting <lostemperor> ! And best Christmas wishes to all. |

Dec-20-16
 | | Penguincw: Hmm, I wonder how I would fare if I used my "normal" prediction style. Anyway, thanks to <lostemperor> for hosting the contest. Congrats to <offramp> for winning a gold not just here, but in all 3 contests. Only me, <chessmoron> and maybe one other person have done that (all in the same tournament). I had fun playing, Tata for now. |

Dec-20-16
 | | OhioChessFan: <WannaBe: I was soooooo close, "couda been a contenda." > I had a pretty awful tournament too. I sometimes total up the Awfulness Quotient by adding up the placings, with last place getting one point, second last two points, etc. I've had my share of Grand Champion Awful Quotient. In this tournament, the bottom 5 would be: 1. Wannabe 7
2. amw 9
3. YouRang 11
4. rogge 14
5. OCF 16 |
|
| Dec-21-16 | | paavoh: Thanks for hosting this competition <lostemperor>, and thanks for your congratulations <fellow CGers>. I could not believe having done this well. This was my first time so it must have been beginner's luck, and I will regress towards the mean for sure. |
