| Sep-03-11 | | virginmind: i was about to wish your compatriot nielsen good luck today at the world cup and, ouch, just noticed who he's playing against...:) ok lets wish them both good luck then and the best should go further. |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: <virginmind> Thank you ! And I actually hoped you would drop by ! It is an interesting pairing indeed and I see it as a fine consolation if your countruman goes through to the next stage, but of course my first priorite is Nielsen, also because I have met him on several occasions and do like him as a person. In anyway , with your words : let the best man win and above all I wish you a nice weekend and sincerely hope things are working out fine in your life. See you down the road . |
| Sep-03-11 | | rogge: Go PHN! |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: Thanks <rogge> ! Long time no see..Did you enjoy the stay at "your place" in Sæby? And did you notice the fortknight with the most sunny days this year ? (as someone cgeer promised;) Here my wife and yours truly are enjoying life and personally I adore this time of the year just between summmer and indian fall.. And on tuesday !? Opera or Drillo ?
Greetings from a flatlander til en fjeldabe :)
Tip: Go see "Tougher than the rest"(VEVA) (with the boss, off course)on you tube.
The lovelook in Scialfas eyes says more than words. |
| Sep-03-11 | | rogge: Long time no see, but not any longer :) Yup, "our place" pleasant as always. We're considering going south next time, driving via Storebælt. Easier day-trips to e.g. Deutschland as a result. On tuesday, a Norwegian should skip the match. Danes can confidently watch it, because they're going to win :) Thanks for the <toob-tip>, and just ignore the local <nutcase> on Carlsen page ;) |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: Goin south...there are many nice quiet places on these destinations, but heck, you probably know better than the flatlander ;) So you promise a win on tuesday ..Great and thank you ! :) But in anyway, none of our nationals will have the slightest chance in a european contest.. No problems with the nutcase, but the fundamentalists.....may represent a potentially dangerous movement. |

Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: Referred to the global situation,I mean. Here on CG they are one by one harmless IMO. |
| Sep-03-11 | | rogge: Yup, agreed. Some of them quite likeable (on other subjects). |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: Agreed too.
And some chess : Have you noticed that Morozewitsch now has been at the board for 2½ hours without moving one of his knights !???! |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: Well and then he moved one !
In my langage it is called : kommentatorforbandelsen :) |
| Sep-03-11 | | rogge: I'm at work today, and the firewall prevents me from following others than <Judith> live on cg.com at the moment. Gris-Moro is an interesting match-up. |
| Sep-03-11 | | virginmind: in 'our' match: i am clueless as to white's 23.Bg5 - wasnt he supposed to defend his b2 pawn? or at least to do something about his isolated rook with moves like Kg2? for some reason though i see black preferred to push e3 and now they are equal - still white has that central isolated pawn, easy prey to attacks. chess is still a complicated game... :) |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: <chess is still a complicated game... :)> You are so damned right virgin. And I had also difficulties understanding Bg5.But may be he got afraid of an ending with a semibad bishop !?(After Bg5 Peter could have taken on b2).Now it is equal but with some play left,if the players want or dare ;) |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: And after 25-Nf5 they agreed to a draw.
A fine result for Peter who is now a favourite to go through to the next round. But it is chess.Anything can happen. |
| Sep-03-11 | | virginmind: heh, it's drawn after all. we're gonna see tomorrow...hopefully nielsen is not too dangerous with white...;) |
Sep-03-11
 | | moronovich: Hope to see you tomorrow, but I might be off in the first half (at the seaside with my wife). |
| Sep-05-11 | | virginmind: ok, the first rapid was won by nielsen (with black) now lets see the second one... |
| Sep-05-11 | | virginmind: thats it, parligras lost the second as well. good luck to nielsen in the 4th round, whoever he will meet there! |
Sep-05-11
 | | moronovich: Thanks <virginmind> !
And I may say Nielsen is on fire, which makes him a difficult opponent for everyone. But now there are only the big guns left...
Interesting in either way.
All the best to you and see you around ! |
| Sep-07-11 | | rogge: Congratulations to Morten Olsen, his team and to Danish football fans. The result was as predicted, and I'm happy to know Norwegians won't be embarrassed during the Euro 2012 :) Go PHN, but it's looking rather drawish, I think. |
| Sep-07-11 | | virginmind: bravo, nielsen has equalised, beating gashimov today! good luck in the tie breaks tomorrow! |
Sep-08-11
 | | moronovich: Thanks a lot <rogge> and <virginmind> ! Yes,it was a nice experience tuesday night. With a bit of hope for the future. And I see what you mean rogge, about embarrasment. So in the end an Olsen came out on top ;) And I am really impressed by Nielsen. Not without a chance in the tiebreaks.... 30 % ? See you there ? |
Sep-08-11
 | | moronovich: 13.33: Wow-this is breathtaking.Peter winning the second playoff-game !! So now to armageddon 50-50,I would say.
Go Peter - Gogogogogogogogogo.......... |
