Kudos,and may you have a fine weekend ! |

 | | moronovich: And good evening to you too Dear <virginmind> ! As always great to hear from you !
But sorry you are having this rainy weather, especially on your behalf. Why not switch as we have been having a minor heathwave for a couple of weeks-not my cup of tea as you know.
So let us switch;) please ,Lord of the water and winds. I am afraid some of it is man made ):
But it has,at least to me been quite surprsing we could open up that relatively early, compared to the prospects mid March.A pleasant one,off course and celebrated by both Hannah and I as we have been to town a couple of times and enjoying the company with dear friends ! A relief to breathe more freely
again.
Otherwise my life is not that different from during the corona crisis. One day takes the other, but it is good with some stable rythm for my body.E,g, have some powernaps during the evening and go to bed as late(or is it early!?;)as 4 o´clock and is satisfied with 3½hours !
Next week Hannah will stop and hopefully she will find something new,she is after all, only 60,but OTOH she is confident if the circumstances forces her to live as a pensionist. And that is good!We are still happy in the company of each other. That was it my dear. The chicken is in the oven
and I must do my duty.
Please give my hugs to Maria and to your self as well. Hope all the best and see you up the road. |

| Jul-11-20 | | virginmind: Bonsoir mon cher <moronovich>, comment ca va?

 | | moronovich: Good morning dear <virginmind> All is well here, thank you.Was with JWH yesterday and it was great to refresh the situation.About almost everything.Denmark is on of the contries which have successfully reopened,
which you may know already.Something like 2-3 dead during the last 10 days ! And in that respect it is noteworthy that those places with the stupidest president has the most grave sitution with casualties increasing ): Yes,Magnus continues to rule and IMHO it is not so easy to see a challenger who can match him.But hey it is sport,so OTOH everything may happen !.... Here it is sunny and cloudy with some wind. One of my favorites. And Hannah has started her new life as searching for a new job,but at the same time enjoying she can afford to refuse and just enjoy her new life.Kind of win win ! If I have understood your french:You are going to Transylvania or is it cancelled due to the increasing numbers of inficted ? And something with money you may lose or already are lost ?
I hope in anyway you will sort it out in a satisfactionary way ! Our local football team AGF is fighting for silver and a possible entrance to Euopean tournaments,so we will cheer for them today. For the best result in 24 years ! Nice reading you in french and I send you all my best wishes and tout a l´heure ! HOKA HEY |

| Jul-21-20 | | morfishine: Good morning Dear <moronovich> I admire your ability to make such sound chess bets. Frankly, I think I must stop betting on any game Carlsen is playing in. If I bet on him to win, he draws; and if I bet on him to draw, he wins; of course, he never loses, which would seem to enhance one's odds, but not for me Trying to pick his games is like trying to grab a fish and lift him out of the water: too slippery |
|
Jul-21-20
 | | moronovich: Good evening Dear <morfishine> ! And thanks for your kind words.
I know the feeling when you bet on some player and the result "always" is the opposite. And when you change tactics, then the opposite happens ):
A true nightmare for the better.
A difficult circle to break....but it can happen.
Even the most slippery fish may one day land on the diner table :) Please take care over there and looking forward to talk to you again ! |
|
| Jul-27-20 | | morfishine: Good evening Dear <moronovich> I hope you are doing well! I wanted to say I've found a nice place to play online chess, Lichess: https://lichess.org/ Having played at ChessCube for over 10 years I was at a loss on where to play when it shut its doors last year It was awkward playing at Lichess at first, but now I'm getting a better handle on things. The aspect I like best is there's a daily Chess960 tournament from 5 - 630pm est and a 3 hour Chess960 tournament on Sundays from 3 - 6pm est These are just what I was looking for
So, if you get a hankering for some straight up 5 minute chess (no worries about long games or tiring Weekend Swiss's) this may be something for you to look at Take care, morf |
|
Jul-28-20
 | | moronovich: Thanks a lot <morf> ! I´ll look into it.
And many greetings to you.
You take care too. |
|
| Jul-31-20 | | Nisjesram: Hey , <moronovich> , they way you were trying to help me not have a meltdown the other day was very cute :) Hahaha . I am not as strong and mature as brian , friend of <johnlspouge> - not yet. But there is no chance in heaven, hell or earth that i am going to have a meltdown in cg.com Hahaha
However, your intentions were very touching , good smartian. <Optimal play> and <big pawn> had serious meltdown yesterday and they blaming me (wrongly . They should blame it on <keyser soze>) You should try to help them , good smaritan
Cheers :) |
|
Jul-31-20
 | | moronovich: Glad you are not having a meltdown <Nisjesram> and wish you all the best. |
|
| Jul-31-20 | | virginmind: Hi <moronovich>, just got back from that Transylvanian trip and it was lovely. Great weather against odds, and we've seen a lot of fortified medieval churches and some castles in ruins, most quite impressive. I'm fine and hope you're the same.
Best of luck to you and Hannah! |
|
| Jul-31-20 | | Nisjesram: Thank you , <moronovich> All the best to you too.
Regards |
|
| Aug-04-20 | | virginmind: And Magnus wins it all. Again! When all this is gonna stop? I predict in 3-4 years. OK, lets make it 5. Just kiddin. Who knows when it's gonna stop? He's great, what can you do? Not much. He just beats them all. By the way, I guess there's no chance for the world championship to take place this year. What about the candidates? The enigma is still looming around. Oh well, I guess we should be grateful we're alive and well. Just look around. Hugs. |

 | | moronovich: Good morning dear <virginmind> ! Glad to to see you in da house again and that you were having a great trip to Transylvania. With great weather too ! We are doing fine here as Hannnah is enjoying beeing job free for the moment and as such having a taste of the life as retired.Well, she is searching for a new one,but is fine with the fact that it may not happen...So I am enjoying that she is at home on daily basis.
She has even started to jog in the morning!
I got a chock when I saw her in her new suit !
I agree with you that theres is no chance that the world championship is taken place this year,so we may be patient awaiting. And also a strange feeling that the Candidates is only seven rounds to go... So it is covid19 times we are living in and it is
not something to be happy about when we see the numbers are increasing for the moment ):
We shall be gratefull we are alive and well as you so precisely put it.And I am. This Magnus train is just rolling along and
sweeping all resistance away.
Difficult to see someone who can dethrone him in the nearer horizon.May be some young talent in 5-7 years time !? Firiouza ? Yesterday I was with Jan in town and in these corona times it is escpecially great to realize that meetings like these still are possible.Another fine rendez vous and I am grateful. So all in all things are ok/fine here and I send you,and Maria, all the best wishes and looking forward to hear from you again. Today is raining and it is a pleasant surprise also in view of the heatwave that is starting tomorrow ): Dont like it and you know ;) Hugs and Hoka Heys. |
|
| Aug-09-20 | | virginmind: Hello <moronovich>, actually he didn't win it all, as Magnus Carlsen tournament finals only start today, as I just read. So, an opportunity for the other three finalists to prove that he can be beaten at his preferred game, chess. Of course this is possible, only that one of them has to win more games than him, to get the first prize. What do you think about Dubov? Most kibitzers seemed inclined to offer him the last chance in the finals. Is this reasonable? Sure, if we base our reasoning on results and rating. But should take only these into consideration? Anyhow, let's have a good time following the finals. And good luck to Hannah on her search for a new job! It's still great that you're on a win-win situation, as both enjoying more time together at home, regardless. Hugs. |

Aug-09-20
 | | moronovich: Good evening deaar <virginmind> ! And now,as you are speaking,Ding just took Carlsen down today! That is good for chessinterest I suppose, that not the same person is running away with all the trophys. About Dubov I think very highly, but I am afraid he is one of many just lacking these famous 2-3percent in what it takes to be no1.But his style is very entertaining and as an explorer he is second to none.(Well,he has been Carlsens second, and Carlsen is not "none":) Yes,let us have a good time following the next ten days and all these nerve wracking matches! Thank for your kind words.
We where to the seaside today and enjoyed the hot weather.Precisely the right place to be today, during this heatwawe we are having right now. I hope you are doing fine too.And about your job,are you working from home ,or ?
Many do that here in Denmark during the pandemic.
Take care down there and say hello to Maria too. Hugs. |

| Aug-10-20 | | morfishine: Good evening Dear <moronovich>! I was in the middle of the last game of the Lichess daily 960 tournament when the page went blank with the most simplest error message: "Something went wrong with this page" Duh |
|
Aug-11-20
 | | moronovich: Good afternoon Dear <morfishine> Ouch,that was tough luck ):
But it reminds me a little bit of my former father in law,who during WW2 went to a demonstration agains the germans. He was armed with banner and some music instrument,as he went to the towns appointed meeting place.Only to find out he was one day too late..... Take care and stay safe <morf> ! All is well here. |
|
| Aug-14-20 | | virginmind: Hello, my friend.
I just switched to Barcelona - Bayern Munchen when it was 2-5, and I was wondering if it's for real, only to witness yet another 3 goals for Bayern. If this is not a time for 'no comment', then what else is?And Magnus in the final, against Hikaru. Well, let's just wait and see. An excellent weekend ahead! |
|
Aug-14-20
 | | moronovich: Good evening my friend !
Oh what a performance by Bayern ! Haven´t seen anything like this in football for a long time.
Now they may be the heavy favorites to get the trophy. And I am already looking forward to the continuation... And Naka in the lead.Hes gonna be a hard nut to crack for Magnus I suppose.A big show seems to be ahead of us. And an excellent weekend too.
All the best to you ! |
|
| Aug-21-20 | | morfishine: Good morning Dear <moronovich> Congratulations on your splendid Summer Leg Bookie game win! You are the master! |
|
Aug-21-20
 | | moronovich: Good mornig to you too Dear <morfishine> ! And thank you for your kind words.
The final was extremely exciting and I had to give everything, something that can not be detected when we see the final position.Should I play or should I stay ? Was the big question. And how about you ?
hope things are going well and I´ll send you an email in the not so distant future. All the best
-moro- |
|
| Aug-21-20 | | virginmind: They say Magnus won by drawing. Long live Carlsen!
And if I may also congratulate you <moronovich> for that final game. Here's hot but pleasantly so, a great summer I may say, were it not for the virus. I hope you'll have an excellent weekend ahead. |
