Hello all,
I joined CG as an administrator, editor & front-end developer. I will start helping CG with administrative/editor tasks such as making sure tournaments and their bio's are complete and up-to-date, reading forums to help list and prioritize tasks at hand.

<*<*<<Bugs:>>*>*>

1. Has the problem with the duplicates caused by the Nbd2 bug been rectified?

<steve> added some more data when viewing a ghost game(see link below):
- white player (pid and longname)
- black player (pid and longname)
- PGN

The reason for these 3 ghost games are likely due to someone deleting the opponent player with games still in the database. They all have the same opponent and you can see that the player isn't found in the database. I need to find out if the games should be deleted or do I try and revive them.

fredthebear: OK, so I'll put my post in your forum as you requested.

Cry Me A River!

The goons are after me as always. Both lie, Lie, LIE like a rug in the White House. Yes folks, some of you readers recall Z insulting me with a recent photo link of a dead bear skinned by a hunter. Yet Z cries foul of me.

Missy has not bothered me this year. Therefore, no retort from me. Let us recall Z recently threatening Missy, telling her what to do. Z insists on grading everyone in public and telling everyone what to do. In fact, Z tore into Missy in Susan's forum last month. Susan should have been more grateful for Missy's efforts and not allowed such a stunt by Z. It was a difference of opinion and Z made it personal. Z acts like he's Daniel, in charge of everyone and everything, always telling other people what to do. MYOB Z!

Does Z own the Bistro page now? Does Z say who does and does not get to post there? He tried to make it sound like I abuse him over there. My posts are nothing like his posts. Z ragged on Missy, ragged on Missy, ragged on Missy, but I'm not allowed to mention it? Who made that rule? Z has VERY THIN skin. He, too should be MIGHTY grateful to Missy for all the sneaks she's pulled for him over the years.

How many times has Z referred to me as a DRIP? Countless, countless times. Here's another:

<Feb-17-23 stone free or die: This is what a drip does... Too dimwitted to see the obvious humor, and with nothing else to contribute, they take their own miscue as an invitation to spread vitriol and juvenile personal attacks.

Just more boring scat, the drip, drip, drip is continuous:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7KN...
. Feb-17-23
perfidious: 'Boring scat' would be an improvement from the <filth merchant>.>

ONE DaY LATER they're both over here feigning complete innocence, PRETENDING to be victims.

Z - if you get dumb on a game page, you're gonna hear about it. That's just fair when it comes to information exchange. Stop posting garbage on the game pages; that what the Kibitzer Cafe is for.

You did not know what a PIN was in your post. Really??? You should be so embarrassed that you still don't know the basics after all these YEARS. A pin is a long range piece aiming at/through two or more opposing units on the same line; the more valuable unit is behind the less valuable unit under attack so the less valuable unit dare not move without loss of material. You had the Rook aiming at his own King! That's is NOT a pin.

Your crappy comments toward me are not about chess, they're just low blows. You cannot stand to see me treated fairly by the administration!! Obviously, you did not have me on ignore because you're Johnny on the spot.

perfidious is super infatuated with me like the Z troll used to be with his sock puppet attacks. perfidious is a cyberstalker. perfidious posts about me every day, often multiple times a day, either on Rogoff, in his forum, or the game pages. perfidious' forum is a MAJOR violation -- such attacks are UNDENIABLE, yet he denies it anyway. He's dishonest and proud of it. Some posts in the forum have been deleted, but not all.

This mass insult on Rogoff was particularly heinous:

<perfidious: Takes trash to know trash, 'cept for one thing: Rihanna has more to offer on the worst day of her life than those white supremacist <points of sale> criticising her. Ain't that so, <fredthebore, fra diavolo>? <ohiyuk>? <liceman>?>

It's a complete mischaracterization of members here. To call someone racist without any evidence is worthy of a lengthy suspension. For the record, I have never mentioned R's name on here -- ever. It's another daily fabrication by perfidious.

It's not a crime to post opening theory on a game page -- that's what the page is for! (Originally this was Z's charge of ignorance but perfidious is desperate right now.) Deep inside, perfidious is jealous that he's forgotten so much of the useful opening theory that he once knew. That's your problem perfidious. There's absolutely nothing wrong with people providing opening material --- this you do know. Z does not understand beans about chess preparation for tournament play, but perfidious fully understands the necessity of clarifying opening lines and branches.

Man, woman, and child -- this seems like the first time perfidious has had the grace to call me "FRED." Everywhere else, almost everybody else, gets called a nasty name. Where I come from, straightening up in front of the administration while one sits on the hot seat is what we call being FAKE. perfidious has been calling me <spawn of satan> this week, so pleased with himself.

FAKE hypocrites are what these two posters above are more days than not.

I AM Fredthebear, and I stand up to trolls, cyberbullies, liars, race baiters, etc. etc.

saffuna: I was suspended for calling another poster a coward. Now a poster calls me a coward and...nothing.

I don't care about being called a coward. I've been called worse. But shouldn't we expect some consistency?

Not yet, I've been talking to <Steve> about the best way of going about it. Give me another day and I will get back to you on this matter. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience.

Feb-23-23  Messiah: In Opening Explorer both of the displayed variations are 8...Nxh1, the only difference is the layout of the virtual board on those links. This is clearly an error.

PeterLalic: <petemcd85>, thanks for the update. I sympathise with you, because of the unenviable problems with which you are confronted - probably daily.

<Chesschronicle22: Who is mr. Lundback?>

He is a Swede with a FIDE rating of 1800. Despite playing over 300 FIDE-rated games, he does not have a player profile on chessgames.com.

https://ratings.fide.com/profile/17...

That might be why his opponents receive "ghost games" on their profiles. I am merely speculating, since I am new to cg.com.
