Hello all,
I joined CG as an administrator, editor & front-end developer. I will start helping CG with administrative/editor tasks such as making sure tournaments and their bio's are complete and up-to-date, reading forums to help list and prioritize tasks at hand.

Jan-18-23		saffuna: I have written in the past and gotten no response. Sometimes I've gotten "oh that one got past me." We do not know what happens most of the time. What I would like to see, and I think others do as well, is consistency. If I am suspended for calling someone else a coward, then others shouold be suspended for calling people a coward or worse. Or callilng for another poster to die. That occurred recently, and received no punishment.

Jan-22-23		MissScarlett: Uploaded this game (A Soltis vs A Deutsch, 1967), but it didn't go through properly because of a mistake in the PGN. I had to change the ECO to OO to get it through. But the ECO now reads <Uncommon Opening (A00)>. Is there any way to find out what the correct ECO code should be, short of replaying the opening moves via the OE?

It may be because of some "ghost games" in the database, we're looking into it and will get back to you.> I remember first noticing this discrepancy in the number of games after submitting Lalic - Lundback (Nov 2021). That game counted towards my total number, but it was and still is invisible. I assume that this is the definition of a "ghost game". Since then, Lalic - Lundback (Apr 2022) and Lundback - Lalic (Nov 2022) have also been ghost games. If it helps, I can post those three PGNs. Obviously, Lundback is the common denominator, so the bug might be caused by the spelling of his name.
