Hello all,
I joined CG as an administrator, editor & front-end developer. I will start helping CG with administrative/editor tasks such as making sure tournaments and their bio's are complete and up-to-date, reading forums to help list and prioritize tasks at hand.

fredthebear: I certainly have a long-standing right to complain. I must put up with this crap on a daily basis:

<Jan-04-23 stone free or die: <Fred> - you're a bum, not just for several pages, but forever and ever.>

<Jan-04-23 perfidious: Fresh from his latest 'break', <fredthebore> simply cannot resist.... Maybe one day he will rise to 1000 level.

If y'all are tired of hearing me complain, then SUSPEND these germs for their constant misbehavior.

Good attempt to create harmonious ecology.

<zed> is a good person.

Jan-06-23  Rdb: <<nok: <<zed> is a good person.> Now when will <****> apologize to <Z>, I can tell you: On the Twelfth of Never.>>

Well, thing is :

I am sick and tired of far , right people regularly posting stuff like <liberals are evil , mentally ill , back of bus people >

I wish <zed> and other smart , mature people show that we left wingers are acting in intelligent, harmonious ways and then left wingers request admins to put a stop to this 'us vs them ' polarizing insults from far right.

We want intelligent , mature , harmonious right wingers like <keypusher>

fredthebear: It seems that Rdb likes to argue, a real champion of debate:

<<Feb-21-22 Rdb: <george Wallace>/<big pawn>:<I defeated <refused> in 2014 in omv argument> I can not believe an idiot like you can defeat a smart person like <refused>

But let us say you did , for the sake of argument. So fu$king what ?

You know that omv argument is one of the most stupid argument in history of homosapiens.

You have been thoroughly defeated by me in debates.

And you are such a dogmatic fool that you can not face the refutation of your conditioning.

Wake up idiot and... >>

Now is Rdb alleging that FTB said the following? <I am sick and tired of far , right people regularly posting stuff like <liberals are evil , mentally ill , back of bus people > Such would be FALSE, a misrepresentation of FTB. Some choose to believe the Rogoff pages' repetitious libelous mischaracterization of FTB, but let's see where FTB actually said such evil?

No, FTB did not say that. It was Rdb's pal <perfidious> who used the phrase to attack others as is his wont:

<<Dec-02-22 Kenneth Rogoff
perfidious: <CIO....OCF has me on ignore; he said I was saying some hypocritical things. Anyway, if he pigeon-holes you as liberal don't forget he doesn't just disagree with your politics. He thinks you are evil and mentally ill.>

For that, he should have been placed in everyone's private corner of perdition, long ago, given all the hypocrisy which emanates from that quarter.

Besides 'evil' and 'mentally ill', let us not forget stupid as another trait <ohiyuk> imputes to those who believe differently than himself; years ago, he referred to <mort> and I as the two most stupid posters on this page.>>

Thus, Rdb's complaint against FTB is without merit as usual, especially given Rdb's own history of malice toward others.

False Accusation Dismissed.

Jan-06-23  Rdb: <fredthebear><Now is Rdb alleging that FTB said the following? <I am sick and tired of far , right people regularly posting stuff like <liberals are evil , mentally ill , back of bus people > Such would be FALSE, a misrepresentation of FTB>

I never said <Fred> said that

False accusation against me by <fred> dismissed.

Jan-06-23  Rdb: <fredthebear><Thus, Rdb's complaint against FTB is without merit as usual, especially given Rdb's own history of malice toward others>

My history?

I told you umpteen times that I insulted only those far right buddies of yours who were not willing to have harmonious conversations in an atmosphere of mutual respect (and that too when admins were not enforcing guidelines on rogoffland and some of your far right buddies were running amok on rogoffland) . With other far right buddies of yours - <ohiochessfan> for example - I had mutually respectful conversations.

Despite my pointed this out to you repeatedly , you kept on talking $#$# about me including in your profile while not saying a word against those far right buddies of yours who we're hell bent on hurling insults including racist insults . I suffered tonnes of vile racist abuses from your far right buddies over the years.

Whereas I talked even to left wingers not to hurl insults.

That is my history and your history <fredthebear>

Jan-06-23  Rdb: I did not make any complaint against <fredthebear> in the post of mine that <fred> referring to.

That post of mine was not about <fred> , it should be very clear to all those who read and act rationally and calmly

LoveThatJoker: <Pete> can you please correct the score to the computer annotated version of V Mamoshin vs V Kolker, 1972

Unfortunately the very last move on this version is still 43...Rf6. This detracts vitally from what the game should be, as 43...f6 is the only move that saves the game for Black..

Please help!

LoveThatJoker: <petemcd85> If all that is needed to get the proper version of this game here on CG is a corrected version of the PGN, then I am sure users Messiah or MissScarlett can do so!

LoveThatJoker: <petemcd85> MissScarlett says that the PGN for the game here on CG is already correct. All that is required is to delete the computer annotated score page and run the analysis again.

Please do this, so as to finally clear this matter up!

Once again, here is the game, V Mamoshin vs V Kolker, 1972

I'm looking into it

Jan-10-23  Messiah: Something's off: by inspecting the <similar games feature> here: J van Foreest vs Duda, 2021, the page Games Like J van Foreest vs Duda, 2021 says it is not yet indexed. Randomly checked a game that was played just a several days ago (it was Edvin Trost vs Y Milikow, 2023), and it showed the exact same. The randomly chosen, much-much-much earlier game Najdorf vs Fine, 1951 shows it correctly. Is it possible that the indexing cron-job (or whatever controls it) stopped to work at least a couple of months ago?

None of the referenced games are 'special' ones, this problem occurred without I tried to produce it at the first place.

Jan-10-23  Messiah: Also, please forgive me for butchering the English language, but I'm not in the mood to correct my previous kibitz. Hopefully it can be understood with the current wording.
