GrahamClayton: Apparently Korchnoi took only 10 minutes to play his first 19 moves, and then spent 94 minutes on his 20th move.

Aug-15-11  Rama: 37. Rxc4 Nxc4 (... Rb1+, 38. Ka2) 38. Kxc4 ..., looks winning to me. What am I missing?

How about 37. Rxc4 Rb1+ 38. Ka2 <Rb2+> 39. Kxb2 Nxc4+ with a fork, recovering the material?
Aug-16-11  Rama: I think I got confused, placing the white K on b3 in my mind. Yes, The Knight's recapture on c4 is a check,

woldsmandriffield: An amazing tussle. At the end, Korchnoi might have tried 42..gxh5 and forced Geller to find 43 Nf5+ Kh7 44 f4! (44 Rxa4 is only a draw).
Dec-29-18  cunctatorg: At least at this game of this damned variation Viktor was able to put a stubborn and subtle fight; not like at the other game of the very same variation at the final of the 1974 Candidates matches against Karpov ... which was a pure massacre...

Damned Dragon variation and more damned Pirc defense... Preposterous choice of openings by Viktor sometimes...
