Nov-24-07  Karpova: He was an important member of the Lodz Chess Society for many years and edited the <Almanach> which covered the club in its early years 1903 to 1907 together with David Daniuszewski.
Aug-17-09  whiteshark: <А. МУНД> , (Н. Н о в г о р о д)*, played also the USSR chess championships 1920, where he finished 14th with 4.5 points out of 16 players.

* In the article Mund it is mentioned as he was from Lodz. But from 1918 onwards it was part of Poland. NicBase gives only <ca. 1880> as birthdate.

Jul-15-23  Lissowski: August MUND (and not Mundt) lived in Lodz still in 1944. Co-editor (with Dawid Daniuszewski) of chess column in Illustrierte Sonntags Beilage zur "Neuen Lodzer Zeitung". Like Robert Schattke and Teodor Regedzinski, a Lodz player of German roots.
