  perfidious: Marc was a solid master who lived in Boston through the 1970s, then moved to Chicago in 1982. We had three games, all drawn, in 1981-82, and he gave me a difficult time in two of them-I was lucky to hold my own!

He specialised in the English as White and played the French and Gruenfeld for Black.
