This WGM was born on the 2nd of July (not February as some sources state) 1971. Cuban champion (w) in 2008 and 2009. Competed in the FIDE Knock-Out Women's World Championship (2012), winning her first round match against Georgian IM Bela Khotenashvili, but bowing out of the title contest in the second round when she lost to Ukrainian IM Mariya Muzychuk.
