  alexmagnus: Somebody must update his bio:

1)He died on April 24th, 2011

2)His IM title: he got it in 2003, at the age of 68.

3)He was also a trainer, according to German Wikipedia, his most known student is Tomashevsky.

Highest FIDE rating: 2464 (October 2002). Chessmetrics puts his peak in 1963 (with a CM rating of 2553), his best peformance in 1991 (CM TPR 2600). CM has no rating data between 1964 and 1991 btw :D. This DB has at least two games vs Tseshkovsky from that period here...
