Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-27-11  whiteshark: Any relations to Nikolai V Krogius ?
May-10-18  cmontonen: They are indeed relatives, although rather far back: Ragnar's great-great grandfather Gabriel Krogius had a brother Adolf Krogius who moved to Russia in the first half of the 19th century. Nikolai's mother is a direct decsendant of Adolf. She married a Russian nobleman, but reverted to her maiden name after the revolution.
Feb-26-23  siimens: Yes, he is blood related to russian grandmaster with swedish roots https://www.geni.com/path/Ali-Krogi...
