http://www.ara.org.ar/chs/ajedrez/r... His <Autobiografía ajedrecística> - Very interesting text with memories on Lasker, Alekhine, Reti, Tarrasch, argentinian chessical scene and players etc

Nov-08-24  Gottschalk: Rivarola was not one of Argentina's best players. Because to be a strong player is more than
just win a few times with brilliancy.
To level up you need to win tournaments, but before that you need to show regularity and avoid defeats to weaker players. Here, Chessgames.com errs on the side of a profound lack of knowledge of Latin America, which is the root of its prejudice.

This game is a true artwork that computer analysis cannot refute. How can Chessgames reject a game like that?

<....Here, Chessgames.com errs on the side of a profound lack of knowledge of Latin America, which is the root of its prejudice.>

In the pre-computer epoch, many strong players' games are difficult to find, regardless of location.

Do you know if this is the same game, despite the difference in the number of moves, mentioned here? (from what I can see online the name of the chess journal was "1.P4R!!"):

Yes, I have a source http://ajedrez.hypermart.net/ that is unfortunately no longer online. However, as far as I remember, this page belonged to Luis Scalise. You can try to contact him to confirm at the new address: http://scalise.260mb.org/? (Scalise Chess Page)
