Feb-15-06   Bobak Zahmat: Poor guy :) Out of his six games which he has played the Alekhine Defense he has lost FOUR!
Feb-15-06   Bobak Zahmat: For a discussion about the Alekhine's Defense (B03) just click on the link.
Feb-19-06   EmperorAtahualpa: So little games in this database for a GM!
Feb-19-06   Bobak Zahmat: His 42,6% overall record isn't really encouraging perhaps.
Feb-19-06   Jim Bartle: Maybe those folks arguing about "(R/n-1)?, + õ?(i.e. the Elo differential?)- i?(n!)¸+ --¾[°](which is -n-1ª)" over on the Linares page might want to correct me, but I suspect that if you're going to have players with overall records above 50%, by definition you're going to have some below 50%. It can't be like Lake Woebegone, where "all the children are above average."
Feb-19-06   Bobak Zahmat: <Jim Bartle> That's true.
Feb-19-06   EmperorAtahualpa: I've found many more games by this player, which I've submitted to <chessgames.com>. I hope they will appear in the database soon!
Feb-20-06   Bobak Zahmat: Thanks dude.

plang: He is not as well known as his stronger countryman Artashes Minasian. They need to distinguish between Art. Minasian and Ara Minasian. It is confusing.
Apr-13-06   Bobak Zahmat: Artashes Minasian has this far a fantastic score of 5/7 during the European Championship.
