Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-13-04  uzeromay: He is the coach of Antoaneta Stefanova.
Jan-30-05  InfinityCircuit: Congrats to Georgiev, winner of Corus Group C! He outplayed two players, Korotylev, and Alekseev, with significantly higher ratings, to win the "gold"

As a sidenote, why do people feel inclined to post which males coach which females?

Jan-31-05  lejla: Congratulations Vladimir! Impressive, best score considering A-B-C group and not a single game lost!
Jun-06-05  Knight13: I saw this guy at Kentucky Open last weekend. He won the tournament with 4.5/5.
Nov-13-05  MUG: This guy has almost 20 'grandmaster draws' on the database! (approx 25% of all his draws). This must be a record?!

Check out his Slav! You know you can put your coat back on if he plays 2...c6 against you!!

Nov-13-05  azaris: Does this bother you? Most chess players would kill to have a variation they could play as Black when they "just need to draw this one game".
Nov-13-05  MUG: Doesn't bother me at all. I just found it an interesting obsevation. It suggests to me that Georgiev may suffer from lack of confidence or motivation. Why else would he so readily accept draws from weaker players so often?!
