<Teem> I think the lads have a rest tonight, but did you see that <Hikaru Hakkatakka> has a share of first place now? He won his last two in a row. |

Apparently it's Finnish or almost Finnish. Notice the section devoted to me to the right of "Goodgame" at the top. Clever girl. http://www.riemurasia.net/kuka/Hakk... |

Occurred to me that my reference to "Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In" was perhaps unknown to youngsters like yourself. This was a hit song back in the Hippie Times. Hendrix said he really liked it. It's by Kenny Rogers before he stopped dropping acid and became countrified. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZ8... |

 | | OhioChessFan: I went to one of his concerts during his country days, and he performed that song. I'd guess maybe 10% of the audience was familiar with it. The band was the First Edition, although they were sometimes billed as Kenny Rogers and the First Edition. |

<Trombone> I remember that Three Dog Night song- the last time JEREMIAH BULLGFROG was posted was when <Deffi> was still a regular. Here's the other "call Deffi" track from them days: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PDp... |

<Teem> Hikaru Hack Attack. heh
I did in fact get your reference to "conditioner" because I knew the song. Or did I? I had no idea it was Kenny Rogers! He is awesome on that track and awesome in the video too. It looks like <The Honorable Member from Ohio> has been on point with his recent "soft country" posts. Also he got to see Kenny. (thanks Ohio) |

Ingenious blue lettering sir. |

 | | jessicafischerqueen: <Ohio> I don't know if this qualifies as soft country, but this band is from Calgary, Alberta- "The Stampeders." As a "yout" I attended the Calgary Stampede, which bills itself as "The World's Biggest Rodeo." I only remember the Chuckwagon Races, which were memorable because of the horrific accidents, and, appropriately, ensuing stampedes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0IR... |

Re The Villa it's 7 times but last was waaaay back in '57 ... So it's the Toon or Hull to be relegated today !
Uri Geller ( not sure if you know him ) is getting involved and reckons he can " influence" The geordies final game so they can stay ooop ! lol lol To me it looks like a Geordie train crash of an end to the season and I reckon they'll go thru the trap door ... But..
No Spoilers here as requested ! lol |

Following your hot tip, I immediately went to the <Jose Feliciano v Fred Flintstone> matchup and saw this position, which was after 23.Qg5: click for larger viewI pronounced it dead drawn and then lost both sides of the position against my trusty <Shreddies III> chess engine. Playing through the game, I found it exciting. Great opening, and I like to play against it with White, for the challenge. |

<Hozza> I may have to wait up to 6 more days until I can discuss EPL games, since it takes up to a week for all of them to come online. I have to say I am really sad that I have to wait so long until EPL starts up again. It starts again at the end of August? I'd look it up online but I'm afraid to run into spoilers. On the plus side, I believe there will be good English commentator coverage of the exciting South American and world national team soccer this summer. I did see the Spurs game so far, and learned they will be off to Malaysia on a "good will" tour. |

<Hozza> on commentators- the UK commentators kick ass- best play by play and commentary in sports, in my opinion. <Gary Neville> is my favorite. His coverage of the <Paris st Germain - Chelsea> 2nd leg match is a masterpiece. lol he spent the ENTIRE GAME telling us how crap Chelsea was playing, how they were "walking" and "afraid to challenge" on tackles, and were doomed to lose. And even though Chelsea forged 1-0 and 2-1 leads, they did indeed fulfill all of the "Prophecies of Gary." ahahahaha
I love to hate Chelsea. That was a remarkable game last week when The Albion hammered them, only the 3rd Chelsea loss all year. |

Thanks <tbon> one of my favorite Genesis tracks, as you know. It's also the track I posted so that you could evaluate his guitar style. Do you remember that? The video you posted for me is from Steve's "World Genesis" tour, where he only plays songs from the Peter Gabriel era. He's certainly better than a Genesis tribute band.
I saw Steve Hackett more than 10 years ago now- the only old song he played was "Horizons" from <Foxtrot>. |

 | | playground player: <jessicafischerqueen> Kreeg-ah, mu-mangani! Something tells me you're a Peter Pan fan. I've just re-read the book by James M. Barrie (1904), and it knocked me for a loop! My review: http://leeduigon.com/2015/05/26/one... There is no way any Disney cartoon can live up to this. |

<Lee> I didn't get where I am today by reading Peter Pan, but your review has got me curious now. I've never been a fan of the Disney product or any Pan movie with "real life actors." It has never appealed to me for some reason, unlike Tarzan comics. |
