Tilburg Interpolis (1989)

The 13th Interpolis tournament was a Category XVI event (Elo average 2626). Eight GMs including the world champion Kasparov competed in a double round robin (all-play-all) format. Prize fund: 114,000 Dutch guilders, with 25,000 guilders to the winner. Chief arbiter Geurt Gijssen was assisted by Constant Orbaan.

Jan-29-24  mk volkov: Kasparov's best tournament. His "San Remo" (1930) - he won all games with white pieces and finished 3.5 points ahead of Korchnoi.
